Frequently Asked Questions - Timer Plus Schellenberg

How to set the time and date on the Timer Plus?

Press the setting button for 4 seconds to access the time and date setting. Use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the values and confirm with the setting button.

How to program a daily schedule?

Press the setting button for 6 seconds to enter the daily program settings. You can define up to 3 time blocks: Monday-Friday, Saturday and Sunday. For each block, set the opening and closing times.

What is the Astro function and how to activate it?

The Astro function automatically closes the roller shutter at sunset. Activate it by pressing the setting button for 8 seconds, then select the Astro option. You can also set a time offset.

How to activate holiday mode?

Holiday mode randomly changes the switching times by ±15 minutes to simulate presence. Activate it in the menu by selecting the holiday icon. It is added to the daily or weekly schedule.

How to lock the keypad (child safety)?

Press the setting button for 10 seconds to access the programming lock. Activate the lock to prevent unwanted changes. To unlock, repeat the operation.

How to reset the Timer Plus to factory settings?

Hold the setting button pressed for about 10 seconds until the screen shows 'RESET'. Confirm to restore default settings. All programming will be erased.

Is the Timer Plus compatible with all wall plates?

It is compatible with most interchangeable plates according to DIN 49075, with a cutout of 50 x 50 mm. An adapter from the plate manufacturer may be required.

What to do in case of power failure?

The Timer Plus has a power reserve of approximately 5 hours. After this time, the settings are retained but the time must be readjusted. The programming remains saved.

How to switch to manual mode?

Press the setting button to switch to manual mode. In this mode, automatic programs are disabled and you can control the shutter manually with the Up/Down buttons. The manual mode symbol appears.

Can the Timer Plus control other devices besides roller shutters?

No, the Timer Plus is designed exclusively for controlling roller shutters. Improper use could damage the device and void the warranty.

electric roller shutter systems.

- An improper installation can result in serious injuries or property damage.
- The provisions of the local electric utility company as well as all applicable standards and regulations for electrical installations must be complied with.
■ Only operate in dry rooms (IP20).
- The product and the packaging are not toys. Keep children away from it, since there is a risk of injury or suffocation.
- Do not open the clocks - there is a risk of injury.
- Keep people away from the movement range of the roller shutter system. The movement range of the roller shutter system must be completely visually accessible during the operation.

INTENDED USE

• The timer switch (Item no. 20031 / 20036) is designed exclusively for the controlling of roller shutters.
• The roller shutter system and its components must be in a perfect condition. Defects in the system or its parts must be repaired before installing the timer switch.
• Any other or further utilization beyond the explicitly specified shall be regarded as not intended.
• The Alfred Schellenberg GmbH shall not be liable for any consequential damage, property damage and personal injury due to improper use.
• Please keep these instructions stored in a safe place, as they must be available to every user.

The astro function is used for closing in the evening and follows the sunset over the course of the year. If the daily or weekly program has been set, or astro function has been enabled, the roller shutter will shut at the later occurring event.
