■ Do not use on highly combustible surfaces or in combustible environments (e.g. paper, textiles etc.).
■ Make sure heat-sensitive materials are suitable for gluing with hot-melt adhesive.
■ Do not pull glue stick out of the applicator. Hot-melt ad-hesive running into the applicator may cause damage.
■ Only use suitable glue sticks at the intended tempera-ture.
■ When changing the glue application temperature, make sure the next glue stick used is suitable for the temper-ature selected.

Working with the battery-powered hot glue gun
Glueing

NOTE
Glue areas must be completely clean, dry and grease-free. Glue spots cannot be removed from clothing. Drops of glue are best removed once cold.
■ Insert the glue stick into the corresponding opening at the back of the device.
■ Switch on the device.
When using for the first time, the feed trigger must be actuated several times in order to fill the heating chamber with adhesive. It may sometimes be necessary to push the glue stick briefly.
■ Actuate the feed trigger and apply the glue to one side of the material.
■ Push firmly onto the materials being adhered and, if necessary, adjust.
■ After approx. 2 minutes, the glue area is fully resilient. For large or long workpieces, a series of dots of adhesive is recommended.
Even hard foam (e.g. polystyrene) can be processed using the 130 °C temperature setting and the "Low Melt" glue sticks. In this instance, please note that the hot glue should be applied to the substrate and not directly to the polystyrene.
■ When gluing together textiles or similar materials, it is recommended to apply the hot glue in a wavy line.
■ Allow the battery-powered hot glue gun to cool completely after use.
■ If necessary, process weather-resistant and moisture-resistant PUR glue sticks at the 130 °C temperature setting.

NOTE
When changing glue sticks from one designed for the 130 °C temperature setting to one for the 200 °C setting, the glue may temporarily emerge from the nozzle in a far runnier consistency.
