This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product. Never operate the product while people, especially children or pets, are nearby. The user is responsible for accidents or hazards occurring to other people or their property. Other persons and animals should remain at a distance of 3 metres or more when the product is being used. The operator is responsible for third persons in the working area. Use the product only in daylight or good artificial light. Never operate the product when you are tired, ill or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medicine. Avoid operating the product in bad weather conditions especially when there is a risk of lightning. Always wear substantial clothing on the upper body and limbs when operating this product. Do not use open toe rubber shoes and sandals when using this machine. Always wear sturdy shoes and long trousers (see figures C and L).
Failure to keep loose clothing from being drawn into the air intake could result in personal injury. Failure to keep long hair tied back and away from the air inlet could result in personal injury. Operate the product only with the nozzle and/or vacuum tube mounted. Thoroughly inspect the area where the product is to be used and remove all wires and other foreign objects. Check the cable for damage before starting work and replace it if necessary. Keep the cable away from heat, oil, and sharp edges. Always direct the cable to the rear, away from the product. Never operate the product with defective guards or shields, or without safety devices, for example, the collection bag in place. When in vacuum mode, objects other than leaves and garden waste, as stipulated in the Intended Use, could be collected. Do not vacuum solid objects such as big branches, broken glass, pieces of metal, and stones. A worn fan or blower housing (chips, cracks, nicks) may cause an increased risk of injury from thrown foreign objects. If the fan or blower housing are damaged, consult the Bosch hotline.
In rare cases (e.g., prolonged use in hot, dry conditions) a blower vacuum can generate an electrostatic charge, which may be felt on contact with the product.
Remove the plug from the socket:
- Whenever you leave the product
- Before checking, clearing a blockage, or working on the product
- After a collision with a foreign object. Inspect the product for damage and make repairs as necessary.
- If the product starts to vibrate abnormally (check immediately)
Connecting to the mains
The voltage of the power source must correspond with the data on the type plate of the product. We recommend that this product is only connected into a socket which is protected by a circuit-breaker that would be actuated by a 30 mA residual current. Only use or replace power supply cables for this product which correspond to the types indicated by the manufacturer. Contact the Service Centre to do this. - Never touch the mains plug with wet hands. Do not run over, crush or pull the power supply cord or extension cord, otherwise it may be damaged. Protect the cable from heat, oil and sharp edges.
The extension lead must have a cross section in accordance with the operating instructions and be protected against splashed water. The connection must not be in water.
Electrical Safety

Warning! Switch the product off and pull the mains plug before any main
tenance or cleaning. The same applies when the mains cable is damaged, cut or entangled.
Motor Protector fitted! Motor fitted with safety overload protection. If motor stops working, allow a few minutes to cool, before restarting. If a cord becomes damaged during use, disconnect the supply cord from the mains immediately. DO NOT TOUCH THE CORD BEFORE DISCONNECTING THE SUPPLY.
Your product is double insulated for safety and requires no earth connection. The operating voltage is 230 V AC, 50 Hz (for non-EU countries 220 V, 240 V as applicable). Contact your Bosch Service Centre for details. If in doubt contact a qualified electrician or the nearest Bosch Service Centre.
For increased electrical safety use a Residual Current Device (RCD) with a tripping current of not more than 30 mA. Always check your RCD every time you use it.
Keep the supply cables away from moving hazardous parts and avoid damage to the cables; this can lead to contact with live parts.
The connections (plugs and sockets) should be kept dry and off the ground. The supply cables must be inspected for signs of damage at regular intervals and may only be used if in perfect condition.
If the supply cable on the product is damaged, it must only be replaced by a Bosch Service Centre. Only use approved extension cables.
Use only extension cords, cables, leads, cable reels that comply with EN 61242/IEC 61242 or IEC 60884-2-7. If you want to use an extension cable when operating your product, only the following cable dimensions should be used:
Nominal conductor area of 1.25 mm² or 1.5 mm². Maximum length 30 m for a Cord Extension Set or maximum length of 60 m for a Cable Reel with Residual Current Device (RCD).
Note: If an extension cable is used it must be earthed and connected through the plug to the earth cable of your supply network in accordance with prescribed safety regulations. If in doubt contact a qualified electrician or the nearest Bosch Service Centre.

WARNING! Inadequate extension cables can be dan
gerous. Extension cable, plug and socket must be of watertight construction and intended for outdoor use.
For products not sold in GB:
WARNING: For your safety, it is required that the plug attached to the product is connected with the extension cord. The coupling of the extension cord must be protected against splash water, be made of rubber or coated with rubber. The extension cord must be used with a cable strain relief.
Products sold in GB only:
- Your product is fitted with a BS 1363/A approved electric plug with internal fuse (ASTA approved to BS 1362). If the plug is not suitable for your socket outlets, it should be cut off and an appropriate plug fitted in its place by an authorized customer service agent. The replacement plug should have the same fuse rating as the original plug. The severed plug must be disposed of to avoid a possible shock hazard and should never be inserted into a mains socket elsewhere. Products that are only sold in AUS
and NZ: Use a residual current device (RCD) with a nominal residual current of 30 mA or less.

Never allow children or persons unfamiliar with these instructions to use the device. National regulations may restrict the permissible operator age. If the device is not in use, store it in a place inaccessible to children. This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed concerning use of the device by a person responsible for their safety. Supervise children and do not let them play with the device. Never use the device if other people, especially children, or pets are nearby. The operator or user is responsible for accidents and damage to other people or property. During operation, other people or animals should not be within the working area. Bystanders within the working area are
the responsibility of the user.
Use the device only in daylight or good artificial light. Do not use the device if you are tired or ill, or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication. Do not work with the device in poor weather conditions, especially when a storm is approaching. When using the device, always cover the upper part of the body and arms with protective clothing. Do not use open sandals or barefoot when working with the device. Always wear sturdy shoes and long trousers (see fig. C1). Ensure that the air intake does not suck in loose clothing, as this could cause injury. Ensure that long hair is tied back and does not get caught in the air intake, as this could cause injury. Work with the device only with the mounted nozzle or mounted suction hose. Carefully inspect the area where you need to collect leaves, and
remove any wires and other foreign objects.
Before using, check the power cord/cable-connector for damage and replace it if necessary. Protect the power cord/cable-connector from high temperatures, oil, and sharp edges. Always lay the cord in the direction away from the device. Never use the device with damaged protective devices, covers, or without safety accessories, e.g., without a bag. Make sure that during operation all supplied handles and protective devices are installed. Under no circumstances attempt to switch on an incompletely assembled device or a device with unapproved modifications. When working with the device, always watch your stability and maintain balance. Carefully watch the surrounding situation and be prepared for possible dangerous moments that you may not hear during leaf collection. Avoid unnatural body positions and always maintain balance.
On sloping surfaces, watch your stability. - Always move calmly, never run. Keep all air vents clean. Do not blow dirt/dust in the direction of people nearby. Do not carry the device by the cord. We recommend wearing a respirator mask. Before touching the device parts, wait until all its parts have completely stopped. The blower continues to rotate after switching off the device by inertia and can cause injury. Pull the power cord plug out of the wall socket. Do not change anything in the device.
Unauthorized modifications can affect the safety of the device and lead to strong noise and vibrations.
During suction, not only leaves and garden waste, for which the device is intended, but also other objects can be collected. Do not collect solid objects, e.g., large branches, glass shards, metal parts, or stones. Damage to the fan or housing (splinters, cracks, jagged edges) increases the risk of injury from flying parts.
In case of a damaged fan or housing, please call the hotline. In rare cases (e.g., during prolonged operation in dry conditions), due to the vacuum in the blower, an electrostatic charge can build up, which can discharge upon contact with the device.
Pull the plug out of the socket:
- Always, when you leave the device unattended,
- When checking the device, clearing blockages, or performing manipulations with the device,
- after contact with hard objects. Immediately check the device for damage and repair it if necessary, - if the device starts to vibrate unusually (immediately check).
Electrical connection
The external power source must match the data on the manufacturer's rating plate of the device. It is recommended to connect this device only to a socket equipped with a safety cut-out device of 30 mA. Use with this device only such power cords that correspond to the manufacturer's data.
I. Therefore, contact the service center.
Hold the power tool by insulated gripping surfaces only, when performing an operation where the cutting accessory may contact hidden wiring. Do not carry the power tool by the cord and do not pull the cord to disconnect it from the receptacle. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or moving parts. The cord must have the rating specified in the operating instructions and be protected from splashes. The plug must not be immersed in water.
Electrical safety

Warning! Before carrying out any work on the power tool, such as maintenance or
cleaning, switch off the power tool and unplug it from the mains. The same applies if the power cord is damaged, cut, or entangled.
Motor protection is installed! The motor is equipped with overload protection. If the motor stops, leave it for a few minutes to cool down before switching it on again. If the power cord is damaged during operation, immediately unplug the power tool
from the mains. Do not touch the damaged cord until you have unplugged the power tool from the mains.
For safety reasons, the power tool has protective insulation and does not require earthing. The operating voltage is 230 V~, 50 Hz (for countries not in the EU, also 220 V or 240 V). Use only approved extension cables. You will receive information from your service center.
To increase the level of safety, use a residual current device (RCD) with a tripping current of not more than 30 mA. The RCD should be checked before each use of the device.
Keep the power cord and extension cord away from rotating parts and do not allow the power cord to be damaged to avoid contact with current-carrying parts.
Cable connections (plug and socket) must be dry and must not lie on the ground.
The extension cord must be regularly checked for signs of damage, and it may only be used in perfect condition.
If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Use only approved extension cables.
Use only extension cords, extension leads, or cable reels that comply with EN 61242/IEC 61242 or IEC 60884-2-7.
The extension cables used during operation must have the following cross-sectional areas of conductors:
- Connect the cable with a cross-section of 1.25 mm² or 1.5 mm².
- The maximum length is 30 m for an extension cable or for two cable drums with a protective disconnection device.
Note: The extension cable must, according to safety regulations, have a protective conductor that connects via the plug to the protective conductor of the electrical network.
In case of doubt, contact a professional electrician or the nearest Bosch service workshop.

CAUTION: An extension cable that does not meet the requirements may
pose a danger. The extension cable, plug, and coupling must be waterproof
and suitable for outdoor use.
Note for products sold within the United Kingdom:
WARNING: For your safety, it is necessary to connect the plug of the garden tool to the extension cable. The coupling of the extension cable must be made of rubber or be covered with rubber and have protection against water splashes. in reverse mode for fastening screws.
Maintenance
Never allow the power tool to be used by persons without proper instructions. Local regulations may restrict the use of the power tool. When not in use, store it in a place inaccessible to children.
This power tool is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the power tool. Never switch on the machine if there are people, especially children, or animals in the immediate vicinity. The operator is responsible for accidents to other persons or damage to their property. During operation, no other persons or animals should be within a radius of 3 meters. The operator is responsible for objects in the work area. Use the power tool only in daylight or in good artificial light. Do not use the power tool when you are tired or ill, or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication.
Do not work with the machine in bad weather, especially in strong wind. When using this power tool, work with both hands, covering the handle part of the body and the switch. Do not work with the power tool while wearing loose clothing or sandals. Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and long trousers (see figures C and L). Be careful that the air intake vents do not suck in loose clothing, as this could cause injury. Be careful that the air intake vents do not suck in your hair, as this could cause injury. Use the power tool only with the guard installed for fastening. Carefully check the workpiece and remove all nails, screws, etc. Before each use, check the power cable and if you find damage, replace it immediately. Protect the power cable from heat, oil and sharp edges.
Guarding the power tool against the effects of the grinding tool. Never work with a power tool if the protective devices (e.g., the guard for the grinding wheel) are damaged or have been dismantled. Before starting work, make sure that all protective devices and guards are properly mounted. Never operate the power tool with a damaged power tool or with unauthorized modifications to the design. ▸ During work with the power tool, always maintain a stable position and balance of the body. Be aware of the specific working conditions and be prepared for possible hazards that you may not notice while working with the machine for grinding/sanding. Avoid unnatural body positions and always maintain stable balance. In case of tilting, always check the stable position of the body.
Work calmly and never rush. Keep all ventilation openings clean at all times. Never grind dust or sanding dust when people are nearby. Do not carry the power tool by holding it by the cable. - It is recommended to work with a dust mask. Before using the power tool, check all its moving parts to ensure they are in good condition. After switching off the electric motor, the turbine may continue to rotate for some time and can cause injuries. Disconnect the plug from the socket. When using the product, always stand firmly on a solid surface. Be aware of your surroundings and of potential hazards so that you cannot be surprised by them while working. Avoid incorrect body posture and always maintain a stable balance. Work carefully and steadily. Do not overreach. Do not allow dirt and debris to enter the air vents. Keep the area clean and free of objects that are nearby. Do not carry the tool by the cable. Always wear protective goggles. Check all components of the product before use.
Damage. The product may be damaged if the motor of the tool is blocked and may cause injury. Read the preceding warning from the previous page.
Do not use a damaged tool.
Unauthorized modifications may lead to a violation of safety of the device and may increase the noise or vibration.
The vacuum can also suck up and pick up objects other than the intended ones. Do not pick up hard objects such as large stones, broken glass, metal parts, or stones. The fan or the turbine (shavings, dust, debris) increases the risk of objects being thrown and causing injury. If the turbine is blocked, take it to your service center for repair. In rare cases (for example, when used in dry conditions), a static electric charge may build up, which can be felt when touching the tool.
Remove the plug from the socket:
- always when leaving the tool unattended - before moving the tool, removing the blockage, or working on it
- or when touching another object. Check the tool regularly and if necessary stop working.
- if the product starts to vibrate abnormally (check immediately)
Connection to the power supply
The plug of the power cord must match the socket of the electrical network. We recommend that the device be connected to the power supply through a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual current of 30 mA. With this device, use only cables that are approved according to the specifications of the manufacturer. Contact the service center for this. Never pull the plug with wet hands. Do not bend, twist, or pull the cable, and do not place heavy objects on it. Keep the cable away from heat, oil, and sharp edges. The extension cable must be waterproof and suitable for outdoor use. The cable must not be immersed in water.
Electrical safety

Warning! Improper maintenance or cleaning of the product,
switch it off and unplug it from the power supply. This also applies if the cable is damaged, cut, or tangled.
The motor is protected against overload. If the motor stops working, switch it off and leave it for a few minutes to cool down before switching it on again. Unplug the power cord before checking the appliance. DO NOT TOUCH THE POWER CORD TO DISCONNECT IT FROM THE POWER SUPPLY.
Your appliance is double insulated and does not require earthing.
The rated voltage is 230 V AC, 50 Hz (for some countries 220 V or 240 V).
Use only approved extension cables. For more information, contact your Bosch service center.
For additional safety, use a residual current device (RCD) with a tripping current of 30 mA. The RCD should be checked before each use. Keep the power cord and extension cable away from hot surfaces to avoid damage.
Do not let the cable come into contact with metal parts.
The cable connections (plug and socket) must be dry and not lie on the ground.
The power cord and extension cable must be regularly checked for possible damage and used only when in perfect condition.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be repaired by an authorized Bosch service center. Use only approved extension cables.
Use only extension cables that comply with standards EN 61242/IEC 61242 and IEC 60884-2-7.
If you want to use an extension cable when using the appliance, the following cable dimensions are required:
- Cross-section 1.25 mm² or 1.5 mm² - Maximum length 30 m for the extension cable or 60 m for the cable with a residual current device (RCD) plug.
Tip: If you use an extension cable, it must be earthed via the power supply, in accordance with applicable regulations.
For additional information, contact an authorized electrician or the nearest Bosch service center.

WARNING: Inappropriate extension
The extension cable must be suitable for outdoor use. When using an extension cable, it is recommended to use it with a drip loop.
Filling by the manufacturer, which is not sold in the EU:
WARNING: For safety reasons, it is necessary to ensure that the plug is connected to the extension cable.
The connection of the extension cable must be protected from water splashes, and it must be made of rubber or blocked with rubber.
The extension cable must be used with strain relief.
