Place the back of the wheel against the first wall, roll the device in a straight line to the second wall, then read the displayed distance. Add the wheel diameter (318 mm) to get the actual distance between the walls.
How to reset the counter to zero?
Use the button 7 or the lever 8 located on the mechanical counter to reset the value to zero before each new measurement.
How to measure from a wall to a specific point?
Place the back of the wheel against the wall, roll to the marked point, then read the distance. Add the wheel radius (159 mm) to get the exact distance.
How to measure from one point to another?
Place the moving needle (9) on the first point, roll in a straight line to the second point, and read the displayed distance directly.

Completely read through the operating instructions, the „Warranty and Additional Information" booklet as well as the latest information under the internet link at the end of these instructions. Function / application

The mechanical distance measuring wheel is designed for use on straight lines and curves. The mechanical measuring wheel delivers accurate measured values when measuring distances of up to 9.999,9 m.

The moving pointer shows the exact start and end positions. The folding design and transport case make the measuring wheel easy to carry.

General safety instructions

  • The device must only be used in accordance with its intended purpose and within the scope of the specifications.
  • Keep the measuring device away from children.
  • The structure of the device must not be modified in any way.
  • Do not expose the device to mechanical stress, extreme temperatures or significant vibration.
  • Avoid moisture and sand; clean thoroughly after use
    – Note risk of crushing when assembling from the transport position
  • Please ensure compliance with the safety regulations set out by local and national authorities with regard to the correct and proper use of the device.

4 To measure from wall to wall

  1. Position the device with the rear of the measuring wheel against the wall.
  2. Move the measuring wheel straight to the other wall.
  3. Read off the measured value and add the diameter of the wheel.

To achieve accurate measurement results, the guide bar must be held at the same angle during the entire measurement. A vertical position is recommended.

Information on maintenance and care

Clean all components with a damp cloth and do not use cleaning agents, scouring agents and solvents. Store the device in a clean and dry place.

Calibration

The meter needs to be calibrated and tested on a regular basis to ensure it produces accurate measurement results. We recommend carrying out calibration once a year.
