How to measure a wall-to-wall distance with the RollPilot Mini?

Place the back of the wheel against the first wall. Roll the wheel to the second wall while keeping the handle at a constant angle. Read the displayed distance and add the wheel diameter (159 mm) to get the actual distance.

How to reset the counter to zero?

Press the reset button (mark 5) located on the side of the counter. The mechanical counter resets to zero instantly.

What is the accuracy of the device?

The accuracy is ± 0.1%, ensuring reliable measurements for distances up to 9,999.9 m.

How to extend the telescopic handle?

Gently pull the two sections of the handle. It has two levels of continuous adjustment to fit your height. Close it after use.

How to measure from one point to another?

Place the movable needle (mark 7) on the first point. Roll the wheel in a straight line to the second point. Read the distance directly on the counter.

Does the device require batteries?

No, the RollPilot Mini is fully mechanical and operates without batteries. It uses a measuring wheel and a mechanical counter.

How to maintain the distance meter?

Function / application

The mechanical distance measuring wheel is designed for use on straight lines and curves. The mechanical measuring wheel delivers accurate measured values when measuring distances of up to 9,999.9 m. The moving pointer shows the exact start and end positions. The telescopic handle makes the distance measuring wheel easy to carry.

To achieve accurate measurement results, the guide bar must be held at the same angle during the entire measurement. A vertical position is recommended.
