How to install the battery?

Open the battery compartment (6) and insert a 9V battery respecting the indicated polarity. Close the compartment.

How to change the measurement unit?

Press the M/Ft key (or cm/in) to switch between m, cm, ft and inches. The current measured value is cleared when changing.

How to use the Hold function?

Activate the Hold function by pressing the ESC/Hold key. The Hold symbol appears on the screen and the measured value flashes. To deactivate, press the key again.

How to memorize a measured value?

In measurement mode, press Memory/Enter to enter the memory menu. Use the arrow keys to select a memory location M1 to M5, then press Memory/Enter again to save.

How to clear a measured value?

In measurement mode, press the /Reset key for 2 seconds to clear the displayed value.

What is the weight of the device?

The weight with batteries is approximately 2.1 kg.

What is the accuracy of the measuring device?

The accuracy is ± 10 cm per 100 m measured.

How to fold the device for transport?

The device is foldable. Fold the handle and wheel to obtain a compact size of 318 x 540 x 210 mm. The provided carrying case facilitates transport.

What to do if the screen shows low battery?

Replace the 9V battery (type 6F22) with a new one. The low battery symbol (I) lights up on the screen.

How to clean the device?

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use solvents or abrasive products. Avoid moisture.

Function / application

The electronic distance measuring wheel is designed for use on straight lines and curves. The electronic measuring wheel provides measured distance values exact to the centimetre over distances of up to 9,999.99 m. The moving pointer shows the exact start and end positions. The folding design and transport case make the measuring wheel easy to carry.

1 Insert battery

Open the battery compartment (6) and insert a 9 V battery. Correct polarity must be observed.

The Hold function is active when the Hold symbol appears on the display and the measured value fl ashes. The current measured value is held.

4 Display lighting

If visibility is poor, switch on the display lighting. In order to preserve the batteries, the lighting switches off automatically after 15 seconds. Simply press the button again to switch the lighting back on.

The device has an internal measured value memory for storing 5 entries. The selected memory location is indicated by M1...M5 fl ashing.
