CYBEX Anoris T iSize - ZULASSUNG - 1

Thank you for deciding on the Anoris T i-Size when choosing your car seat.

Carefully read this user guide before installing the car seat in your vehicle and always keep the guide to hand in the designated compartment (24).

CYBEX Anoris T iSize - ZULASSUNG - 2

IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND WARNINGS

Without the approval of the Type Approval Authority, the car seat may not be modified or added to in any way.

In order to keep your child properly protected, it is absolutely essential that you use the car seat as described in this user guide.

Do not use before the child's age exceeds 15 months and before the child has reached a size of 76 cm. Do not use anymore if the maximum weight of the child of 21 kg has been exceeded.

This car seat may only be installed on vehicle seats which are approved for the use of child restraint systems according to the vehicle manual.

Do not use any load-bearing contact points other than those described in the user guide and marked on the vehicle seat to secure the car seat.

Before each journey, make sure that the impact shield is correctly tightened and fits tightly against the body. The belts must never be twisted!

Only an optimally adjusted headrest can offer your child maximum protection and comfort.

The car seat must always be correctly installed and secured in the vehicle even when not in use.

The load leg must always make direct contact with the floor of the vehicle. If your vehicle has storage compartments in the footwell, be sure to contact the vehicle manufacturer to ensure the floor of the car can support the load leg.

For the car seat to provide the best possible protection, always use the door-side Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P).

The car seat has also been tested and approved for use without the Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P.) folded out.

The Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P) facing the inside of the vehicle must be folded in if the car seat is used on the front passenger seat or another person is sitting in the rear seat of the vehicle.

Never attempt to disassemble the seat yourself, not even for disposal. We strictly advise against removing fixed parts such as the impact shield. Please follow the disposal instructions set out in this user guide.

Never remove individual parts of the impact shield! Only the outer cover of the impact shield may be removed.

Do not place any objects on the impact shield. Do not use any sharp objects on or near the impact shield.

Always ensure that the car seat is not jammed against any surface when closing the vehicle door or adjusting the back seat.

Luggage or any other objects present in the vehicle must always be firmly secured. Otherwise, they may be thrown within the vehicle, which could cause fatal injuries.

The car seat must never be used without the car seat cover. Ensure that only an original CYBEX car seat cover is used, as the cover constitutes an integral part of the restraint performance.

Never leave your child unattended in the vehicle.

Parts of this child restraint system can heat up when exposed to direct sunlight and could potentially burn your child's skin. Protect your child and the car seat from direct sun exposure.

An accident may cause damage to the car seat that is not identifiable with the naked eye. Replace the car seat after an accident. In case of doubt, please consult your dealer or the manufacturer.

Do not use this car seat for more than 10 years. The car seat is exposed to high stress during its product lifespan, which leads to changes in the quality of its materials with increasing age.

Only the removable cover of the car seat can be machine washed.

The plastic parts can be cleaned with a mild cleaning agent and warm water. Never use harsh cleaning agents or bleaches!

On some vehicle seats made of sensitive materials, the use of car seats may leave marks and/or cause discolouration. To prevent this, you can place a blanket, towel or similar underneath the car seat to protect the vehicle seat.

The car seat is equipped with an integrated airbag system. It is also tested and approved without an active airbag system.

PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION

The Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P) (1) folds out automatically when taking out the car seat from the packaging. Make sure that the Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P) facing the vehicle door is fully folded out before starting your drive.

Before first use, the battery protection strip (2) must be removed from the battery compartment (3) at the bottom of the car seat.

As soon as installation of the car seat is started, an acoustic warning signal can be heard until the load leg (4) is correctly installed.

If installation is started and there sounds no audible warning signal or the visual indicators on the display panel (5) are not lit, the batteries must be replaced.

THE CORRECT POSITION IN THE VEHICLE

This is an i-Size Enhanced Child Restraint System. It is approved according to UN Regulation No. R129/03, for use in i-Size compatible vehicle seating positions as indicated by vehicle manufacturers in their vehicle user manuals. If your vehicle does not have an i-Size seating position, please check with the enclosed vehicle type list whether the use is permitted.

You can obtain the most up-to-date version of the type list from

www.cybex-online.com.

If your vehicle is not equipped with ISOFIX, the car seat cannot be used.

If your vehicle does not offer enough space, the Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P) can be folded in.

It is not guaranteed that all sitting and reclining positions can be used in all approved vehicles.

For safety and comfort reasons, we recommend using the vehicle seat behind the front passenger.

INSTALLATION IN THE VEHICLE

Always ensure that...

•the backrests in the vehicle are locked in their upright position.

- when installing the car seat on the front passenger seat, adjust the vehicle seat as far back as possible

  1. Fold out the load leg (4) until it locks into its foremost position.
  2. Place the car seat on an appropriate seat in the vehicle.
  3. Release the ISOFIX Release buttons (6) to extend the ISOFIX Locking arms (7).

The ISOFIX Release buttons can both be released independently allowing the ISOFIX Locking arms to be adjusted independently.

  1. Push the ISOFIX Locking arms (7) out of the car seat to their furthest extent.
5 Push the ISOFIX Locking arms (7) into the ISOFIX Anchorage points (8) until these lock into place with an audible "CLICK". The ISOFIX Indicators (9) will switch from RED to GREEN.

The ISOFIX Anchorage points are two metal lugs per vehicle seat. These are located between the backrest and the seat surface of the vehicle seat. If in doubt, refer to the user manual of your vehicle.

  1. Make sure that the car seat is firmly attached to the ISOFIX Anchorage points (8) by trying to remove it from it.
  2. Push the car seat towards the backrest of the vehicle seat until it is fully aligned with the backrest.
  3. Press the load leg adjustment button (10) and extend the leg until it firmly touches the vehicle floor.
  4. The load leg indicator (11) switches to GREEN when the load leg is correctly positioned on the vehicle floor and the acoustic warning signal will stop.
  5. Pull the load leg (4) out to the next locking position to ensure optimal force transmission.

Moving the car seat from side to side will also brace it against the vehicle backrest.

REMOVAL FROM THE VEHICLE

  1. Unlock the ISOFIX Locking arms (7) on both sides by pressing the ISOFIX Release buttons (6) and at the same time pulling them back.
  2. Remove the car seat and slide the ISOFIX Locking arms (7) completely back into their transport positions.
  3. By pressing the load leg adjustment button (10) push the load leg (4) back and then fold it in to save space.

ADJUSTING THE HEADREST

The headrest (12) can be adjusted by using the headrest adjustment handle (13). When adjusting the headrest (12) ensure that a maximum of 2 cm (approx. 2 finger's width) remain between the child's shoulders and the headrest.

To adjust the car seat to the desired recline position, press the position adjustment handle (14) on the front of the car seat.

Always make sure the car seat audibly clicks into place when adjusting it to the desired recline position.

SECURING THE CHILD

  1. Release the impact shield (15) by pressing the belt adjuster buttons (16) and simultaneously pull the impact shield forward.
  2. Release the belt buckle (17) of the impact shield (15) by pressing the red release button of the car seat and place the impact shield next to the car seat.
  3. Put your child into the car seat.
  4. Place the impact shield (15) back and plug the belt tongue (18) of the impact shield into the corresponding belt buckle (17) of the car seat. Make sure that the buckle locks into place with an audible "CLICK". The belts must not be twisted. The impact shield indicator (21) switches to GREEN.
  5. Pull on the impact shield (15) to check whether the belt buckle (17) has locked into place correctly.
  6. Tighten the two adjustment belts (19) by pulling them alongside the impact shield with equal force to adjust the impact shield to the size of the child. Move the impact shield a little to the left and right to achieve a straight fit. Tighten the belts until the impact shield fits tightly at the child's body and pelvis.

Each time the child is fastened, check that the impact shield fits correctly and tighten the adjustment belts.

Before starting the journey check that all indicators on the display panel (5) are GREEN by pressing the check button (20).

INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE AIRBAG

The following conditions must be met for the airbag of the car seat to be active: • The battery charge status is sufficient.

  • The car seat is installed correctly and the impact shield buckled in.
•All indicators on the display panel are lit up GREEN.

BATTERY MANAGEMENT

Depending on the battery life and usage behaviour, it may be necessary to change the batteries. If the batteries are empty, the airbag and the indicators and warning signals are not active.

A warning signal indicates that the batteries must be replaced.

To change the batteries, you have to open the battery compartment (3) with a suitable tool. After changing the batteries, this compartment must be closed again. The Battery indicator on the display panel will light up GREEN. If the display panel does not light after exchanging the batteries please contact the retailer or manufacturer.

Only use the recommended type CR17450 batteries (3V DC).

  • Do not reverse the positive and negative terminals when mounting.
  • Only use identical and new batteries without damage.
    •Always remove the empty batteries.

- Keep all batteries out of reach of children.

- Do not charge the batteries.

- Do not subject the batteries to severe shock.

- Never expose this product or the batteries to fire.

The Ground Truth image displays a single, solid horizontal line, which is a stylistic or background element (like a rule line on paper). According to Rule 2, such lines must be ignored by the OCR result. The OCR content provided is "", which consists of no characters. Since the OCR output correctly ignores the stylistic line, it complies with Rule 2. Therefore, the OCR result is consistent with the Ground Truth.
The Ground Truth image displays a single, solid horizontal line, which is a stylistic or background element (like a ruled paper line or separator), not a placeholder for text. According to Rule 2, such stylistic/background lines must be ignored by the OCR result. The OCR content provided is "", which consists of no characters. This correctly represents the absence of any textual content in the GT and correctly ignores it as a hallucination. Therefore, the OCR output should have been empty or contained no text. Hence, the OCR result is consistent with the Ground Truth.

The Ground Truth image displays a single, continuous horizontal line, which is a stylistic or background element (like a ruled paper line). According to Rule 2, such lines must be ignored by the OCR result. The provided OCR content is "____", which consists of underscores. Underscores are not equivalent to a solid line and are not permitted under the “Stylistic/Background Lines (Ignore)” rule. Outputting underscores for a stylistic line is incorrect because it misinterprets the line as a fill-in-the-blank placeholder. Therefore, the OCR result is inconsistent with the Ground Truth.

The Ground Truth image displays a single, solid horizontal line. According to Rule 2 (UNDERSCORE & LINE RULES), this is a stylistic or background line, not a placeholder underscore. Therefore, the OCR result must ignore it and output nothing or only meaningful text. The provided OCR content is "____", which consists of four underscores. This is an incorrect interpretation of the line as a placeholder, violating the rule that stylistic lines must be ignored. The OCR has hallucinated placeholder underscores where none should exist in the GT. Hence, the OCR result is inconsistent with the Ground Truth.
