How do I pair the HUAWEI FreeLace with my phone?

Method 1: With earphones powered on, press and hold the Power button for 4 seconds until the indicator flashes white, then select 'HUAWEI FreeLace' in Bluetooth settings. Method 2: Connect the earphones to your phone's USB Type-C port (Huawei phones with EMUI 9.1 or later) and follow onscreen instructions.

How do I reset the FreeLace to factory settings?

Press and hold the Power button for at least 10 seconds until the indicator light flashes red. This restores the earphones to factory defaults.

How do I charge the FreeLace earphones?

Use the provided USB Type-A to Type-C charger, or connect the earphones to a phone that supports reverse charging via USB-C. The earphones will charge when connected.

What is the Hall effect magnetic switch?

When the earbuds are attached to each other, the Bluetooth connection automatically disconnects. When they are separated, the connection reconnects automatically.

Can I use the FreeLace with non-Huawei phones?

Yes, you can pair via standard Bluetooth. However, the quick pairing via USB-C connection is only supported on Huawei phones with EMUI 9.1 or later.

How do I answer or end a call?

Press the Function button once to answer or end a call. To reject an incoming call, press and hold the Function button for 2 seconds.

How do I skip to the next or previous track?

Press the Function button twice consecutively to skip to the next song. Press it three times consecutively to go back to the previous song.

Usage scenarios

Power-on/off	Press and hold the Power button for approximately 1 second to power on/off.
Pairing	Bluetooth pairing: When your earphones are powered on, press and hold the Power button for 4 seconds. The indicator light will flash white, which indicates that your earphones have entered Pairing mode. Enable Bluetooth on your phone, and select the device "HUAWEI FreeLace" for Bluetooth pairing.Physical connection: Connect your earphones to your phone's USB Type-C port. Follow the onscreen instructions on your phone to pair your phone with your earphones.
