What type of instrument can I mount on this tripod?

The TelePod Plus tripod accepts any laser measuring instrument with a standard 1/4-inch thread, up to a maximum load of 5 kg.

How to attach the tripod to a wall?

Use the direct mounting eyelet (item 13) on the mount to screw the tripod to the wall. Ensure the surface is solid.

Can I use this tripod on metal surfaces?

Yes, thanks to the strong magnets (item 9) on the back, you can attach the tripod to any magnetic object. Keep a distance of at least 30 cm from implants or devices sensitive to magnetic fields.

How to adjust the tripod height?

Unlock the locking levers (items 4 and 7), pull or push the telescopic rods to the desired height, then lock. The quick adjustment knob (item 10) allows step positioning.

What safety precautions should be followed?

Always place the tripod on a stable and level surface to prevent tipping. Do not exceed the maximum load of 5 kg. Avoid unsecured traffic routes and keep it out of reach of children.

How to clean and maintain the tripod?

Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the components. Never use solvents or abrasive products. Store it in a dry and clean place.

What are the recommended operating conditions?

Operating temperature: -10 °C to 50 °C, with a maximum relative humidity of 85% (non-condensing). For storage: -20 °C to 70 °C, max. humidity 80%.

Is the tripod delivered with a carrying bag?

The manual does not mention an included bag. Before transport, remove the instrument and fold the tripod to transport position.

Yes, any device with a 1/4-inch thread and not exceeding 5 kg can be mounted. Examples: cameras, laser levels, etc.

Completely read through the operating instructions, the „Warranty and Additional Information“ booklet as well as the latest information under the internet link at the end of these instructions. Follow the instructions they contain. This document must be kept in a safe place and passed on together with the device.

General safety instructions

• The device must only be used in accordance with its intended purpose and within the scope of the specifications.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• The structure of the device must not be modified in any way.
• Do not expose the device to mechanical stress, extreme temperatures or significant vibration.
• Avoid moisture and sand, clean thoroughly after use.
• Take care not to pinch your fingers when folding the tripod into transport position.
• Set up the tripod as perpendicular as possible on firm ground: risk of toppling.
• Only use suitable instruments with 1/4" connection up to the maximum load capacity.
• Do not set up the tripod on unsecured roads: risk of accident.
• Before transporting or storing, instruments must be removed from the tripod and the tripod folded into the transport position.

1Mounting on a wall

The lugs (13) facilitate direct mounting on walls.

2Mounting on magnetic objects

The powerful magnets (9) at the rear allow the bracket to be fixed to magnetic objects.

B Fast adjustment

The fast adjustment function allows the device to be positioned in height step by step on the bracket.

Danger - powerful magnetic fields

Powerful magnetic fields can adversely affect persons with active medical implants (e.g. pacemaker) as well as electromechanical devices (e.g. magnetic cards, mechanical clocks, precision mechanics, hard disks).

With regard to the effect of powerful magnetic fields on persons, the applicable national stipulations and regulations must be complied with such as BGV B11 §14 „electromagnetic fields” (occupational health and safety - electromagnetic fields) in the Federal Republic of Germany.

To avoid interference/disruption, always keep the implant or device a safe distance of at least 30 cm away from the magnet.

Information on maintenance and care

Clean all components with a damp cloth and do not use cleaning agents, scouring agents and solvents. Store the device in a clean and dry place.
