Save all warnings and instructions for future reference. The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool. TRAINING This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Save this manual for future reference INTENDED USE This machine has been designed and built to remove and clear away snow from pavements, gardens, drives and other ground-level surfaces. IMPROPER USE Any other usage not in keeping with the above mentioned ones may be hazardous and harm persons and/or damage things. Examples of improper use may include, but are not limited to:

  • Use of the machine on surfaces above ground level, such as roofs on houses, garages, porticoes or other structures or buildings.
  • Activate the auger in the presence of materials other than snow (e.g. soil, grass, pebbles, etc.),
  • Pulling or pushing loads.

Exercise extreme caution when operating on or crossing gravel drives, walks or roads. Stay alert for hidden hazards or traffic. After striking a foreign object, stop the engine, remove the battery, thor-oughly inspect the power tool for any damage, and repair the damage before restarting and operating the power tool. If the unit should start to vibrate abnormally, stop the engine and check immediately for the cause. Vibration is generally a warning of trouble. Stop the engine whenever you leave the operating position, before unclogging the impeller housing or discharge guide, and when making any repairs, adjustments, or inspections. Work only in daylight or with good artificial light in good visibility conditions. Always be sure of your footing, and keep a hold on the handle. Walk, never run! Take all possible precautio- ns when leaving the machine unattended.
