Save all warnings and instructions for future reference. The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool. TRAINING This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. GENERAL SAFETY RULES

Save this manual for future reference INTENDED USE This machine has been designed and built to remove and clear away snow from pavements, gardens, drives and other ground-level surfaces. IMPROPER USE Any other usage not in keeping with the above mentioned ones may be hazardous and harm persons and/or damage things. Examples of improper use may include, but are not limited to:

• Use of the machine on surfaces above ground level, such as roofs on houses, garages, porticoes or other structures or buildings.

• Activate the auger in the presence of materials other than snow (e.g. soil, grass, pebbles, etc.),

• Pulling or pushing loads.

Exercise extreme caution when operating on or crossing gravel drives, walks or roads. Stay alert for hidden hazards or traffic. After striking a foreign object, stop the engine, remove the battery, thor-oughly inspect the power tool for any damage, and repair the damage before restarting and operating the power tool. If the unit should start to vibrate abnormally, stop the engine and check immediately for the cause. Vibration is generally a warning of trouble. Stop the engine whenever you leave the operating position, before unclogging the impeller housing or discharge guide, and when making any repairs, adjustments, or inspections. Before cleaning, repairs or inspections, always check the rotating units have stopped. Do not use the machine sideways on a slope. Always move from top to bottom, then from bottom to top. Never operate the power tool near glass enclosures, automobiles, window wells, drop-offs, etc. without proper adjustment of the snow discharge angle. Keep children and pets away. Do not overload the machi-ne capacity by attempting to clear snow at too fast a rate. Never operate the machine at high transport speeds on slippery surfaces. Use care when reversing. Do not place the discharge chute against the wind, or at people, animals, vehicles, houses and anything else that could be damaged by the snow or by objects hidden in the snow. Never allow anyone in front of the unit. Disengage power to the impeller when the power tool is transported or not in use. Use only attachments and accessories approved by the manufacturer of the power tool (such as wheel weights, counterweights, cabs, etc.). Work only in daylight or with good artificial light in good visibility conditions. Always be sure of your footing, and keep a hold on the handle. Walk, never run! Take all possible precautio- ns when leaving the machine unattended. Dis-engage the power take-off, lower the attachments, shift into neutral, set the parking brake, stop the engine and remove the key.

MAINTENANCE, STORAGE AND

TRANSPORT Check shear bolts; engine- mounted bolt, etc., at frequent intervals for proper tightness to be sure the equipment is in safe working condition. Always refer to owner’s guide instructions for important details if the power tool is to be stored for an extended period. Maintain or replace safety and instructions labels, as necessary. When using in direct sunshine, keep out of water and don’t exposure to rain. Store indoors, and do not expose to rain or water, avoid direct sunshine. Run the machine a few minutes after throwing snow to prevent freeze-up of the collector/impeller. 3English (original instructions)

Keep hands and feet away. DISPOSAL Separate collection. This product must not be disposed of with normal household waste. Should you nd one day that your Greenworks tools product needs replacement, or if it is no further use to you, do not dispose of it with household waste. Make this product available for separate collection. Separate collection of used products and packaging allows materials to be recycled and used again. Re- use of recycled materials helps prevent environmental pollution and reduces the demand for raw materials. BatteriesLi-ion At the end of their useful life, discard batteries with due care for our environment. The battery contains material which is hazardous to you and the environment.
