How to clean the inner lid of the multicooker?
To clean the aluminum inner lid, lift the main lid, press the plastic retainer upward, gently pull the inner lid towards you and upward. Wash it with a soft sponge and dish soap, dry it, then put it back by engaging the mortises until you hear a click.
What to do if the food burns at the bottom of the bowl?
Several possible causes: bowl not properly cleaned after previous use, damaged non-stick coating, too little liquid, cooking time too long. Check that the bowl is clean and in good condition, respect the liquid proportions and reduce the cooking time if necessary.
How to use the delayed start function?
After selecting a program and setting the cooking time, press the Time Delay button. Use the Hour/Min buttons to select hours or minutes, then + and - to set the delay (from 5 min to 24 h). Finally, press and hold Start/Keep Warm to start the countdown. Note: do not use with perishable foods.
Can I open the lid during cooking?
It is not recommended to open the lid during cooking except for certain programs like FRY where the lid can remain lifted. For other programs, opening may lower the temperature and lengthen the cooking time. Wait until the end of the cycle or use the Cancel/Reheat button to stop the program before opening.
How to manually adjust the temperature in the MULTICOOK program?
Select the MULTICOOK program, then press Timer/t°C to enter temperature adjustment mode. The screen displays the default temperature (100°C). Use + and - to adjust from 35°C to 180°C in 5°C increments. Confirm by not pressing any button for 10 seconds.
What does the error E-E5 displayed on the screen mean?
The E-E5 error indicates a system fault, probably related to the control board or heating element. Unplug the device, let it cool down, close the lid properly, then plug it back in. If the error persists, contact authorized after-sales service.
How to save a custom program with MASTERCHIEF?
During cooking of a program (except EXPRESS and YOGURT), you can modify the time and temperature up to 10 times. After cooking ends, the screen displays a 3-minute countdown. To save, press the + and - buttons simultaneously. The modified program replaces the original program.
