Frequently Asked Questions - Power Vac 3000 FLYMO

How to start the Power Vac 3000?
To start, plug the appliance into a 230 V socket, then set the start switch to ON. Make sure all tubes are correctly assembled, because a safety switch prevents starting if they are not in place.
How to use the appliance in blower mode?
To blow, attach the blower tube to the air outlet. Direct the airflow downwards or sideways to gather debris. Keep a safe distance from solid objects and delicate plants to avoid projections or damage.
How to use the appliance in vacuum mode?
To vacuum, attach the suction tube and the collection bag. Slowly move the appliance back and forth over dry debris (leaves, grass). Keep the tube about 2.5 cm from the ground for best results. Avoid forcing the appliance into a pile of debris.
What to do if the appliance does not start?
First check that all tubes (blower, elbow, suction) are correctly assembled and locked. Make sure the collection bag is not full and that the extension cord is plugged in. If the problem persists, contact an authorized dealer.
How to clean the Power Vac 3000?
Unplug the appliance and wait for the turbine to stop completely. Remove the tubes and bag. Clean the air flow slots and the air inlet/outlet area with a soft brush. Never use water or a high-pressure jet. The bag can be turned inside out and washed with water.
What extension cord to use with the Power Vac 3000?
Use an outdoor extension cord with a minimum cross-section of 1.00 mm² and a maximum length of 40 meters. The extension cord must be inserted into the cable lock to avoid accidental disconnection.
How to attach the blower tube?
Align the grooves of the blower tube with those of the air outlet, then push it in until it clicks into place. To remove, press the release button and pull. A safety switch prevents starting if the tube is not properly mounted.
How to attach the collection bag?
If the blower tube is attached, remove it. Align the grooves of the elbow tube with the air outlet, fit it until it clicks, then clip the bag into the two loops on the suction tube. To remove, press the tube locking latch and pull.
What to do in case of appliance blockage?
Stop the appliance immediately and unplug it. Wait for the turbine to come to a complete stop. Remove the suction tubes and carefully reach in the suction opening to remove debris. Wear gardening gloves.
Where to find spare parts for the Power Vac 3000?
Use only genuine FLYMO parts. Contact an authorized dealer or Husqvarna UK Ltd. after-sales service. The blower and suction tubes are wear parts not covered by the warranty.
