How to connect the radio to the Wi-Fi network?

Enable Wi-Fi on your router, then on the radio go to Settings > Network > Wi-Fi. Select your network and enter the password using the rotary knob.

How to change the menu language?

Press MENU, navigate to Settings > Language, then choose your language from the list (English, German, French, etc.).

How to listen to Spotify via the radio?

Make sure the radio and your phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Open Spotify, tap the Connect icon and select the Hama DIT1010SBT radio.

How to set an alarm?

Press the ALARM button on the remote control. Select the desired alarm, set the time, source (DAB, FM, Internet, etc.) and repetition. Confirm with OK.

How to use the sleep function?

Press the SLEEP button on the remote control. Choose the duration (15, 30, 60, 90 minutes or off). The radio will turn off automatically.

How to connect an external speaker?

Use the optical audio output or line out (RCA) on the back of the radio. Connect an optical or RCA cable to your speaker. Make sure the radio is turned off before connecting.

What to do if the remote control does not work?

Check that the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity. Replace the batteries if necessary. Make sure no obstacle blocks the infrared sensor of the radio.

How to update the radio software?

Download the latest update from www.hama.com (ref. 00054895) onto a USB stick. Plug the stick into the update port on the back, then follow the instructions in the Settings > Update menu.

How to improve DAB/FM reception?

Fully extend the telescopic antenna and place it vertically. You can also use an active or passive external antenna with coaxial connector to improve reception.

How to reset the radio to factory settings?

In the Settings menu, select Reset or Reset. Confirm the operation. All settings and presets will be erased.

Preparingtheremotecontrolforuse

Openthecoveronthebatterycompartment.This can be found on the back of theremotecontrol and can be opened by sliding in the direction indicated. The extentofdelivery include two AA batteries which must be inserted into the battery compartment for the remote controltowork.When inserting the batteries, ensure that they are inserted with the correct polarity. The relevant polarity (+ / -) is marked inside the battery compartment.

ThisproducthasanantennaconNECTIONforexternal antennas with a coaxial connection. A suitable antenna thatallowsDAB,DAB+andFMreceptionisincluded in the extent of delivery. Alternatively, you can use an active orpassiveantennatoimprovetherectionortoadapt ittoyourrequirements.

• Always pull the antenna out completely.
• Werecommendyouadjusttheantennavertically to ensure o ptimalreception.

5.1 Generalnotesonuse

5.1.1SwitchOn/0 ff/Standby

• PressPOWER/VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATEtoswitch onthetuner.
• PressandholdPOWER/VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE for3 s econdstoswitchthetuneroff(standby).
• Tacompletely switch off the device, disconnect it from the powersupply.

• Connect the powersupply to themains connection (1) on the back of the Tuner.
