How to turn on the Hama IR50 radio?

Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet, then press the [POWER/MODE] button on the front panel.

How to change the interface language?

Press the [MENU] button, select Settings then Language. Choose your language (English, French, etc.) and confirm with [ENTER].

How to set up WiFi?

On first power-up, a setup wizard starts automatically. If you skipped it, go to Menu > Network to search for available networks and enter the password.

How to adjust the volume?

Use the [VOLUME+] and [VOLUME-] buttons on the front panel to increase or decrease the volume.

Can I use the radio on batteries?

No, the Hama IR50 radio operates exclusively on mains power via the supplied power adapter. There is no battery compartment.

How to clean the radio?

Use a slightly damp lint-free cloth. Avoid any harsh detergents or solvents. Unplug the device before cleaning.

What to do if the radio does not connect to WiFi?

Check that your router is on and the internet connection is working. Restart the radio and the router. Make sure the WiFi password is correct.

How to save a station to memory?

While listening to a station, press the [MEMORY] button. Select a memory location with the rotary knob and confirm with [ENTER].

Can I connect headphones?

The radio does not have a dedicated headphone jack. You can use the AUX IN jack to connect an external speaker or other audio device.

How to reset the radio to factory settings?

Go to Menu > Settings and look for the Reset or Factory settings option. Confirm the reset. All personal data will be erased.

• The product is intended for private, non-commercial only.
• Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating and use it in dry rooms only.

4.1 WLAN (wireless network)

• Ensure that the router is switched on, is functionally correctly and that there is a connection to the int
• Activate the WLAN function of your router.
• Follow your router's operating instructions as regards the correct functioning of the WLAN connection.
• Then proceed directly as described under section 5, Getting started'.

5. Getting started

5.1 Switching the device on

- Connect the power cable to a properly installed socket.

• Only connect the product to a socket that has been approved for the device. The electrical socket must always be easily accessible.
• Disconnect the product from the power supply us the on/off switch — if this is not available, unpl power cord from the socket.

- Wait until the radio initialisation procedure has fini

- Press the [POWER] button to switch the radio on.

5.2 Language and setup wizard

The first time the system starts the radio uses English. To

ng change this, proceed as follows: Press [MENU] > System settings > Language > Select ernet. language

Confirm your selection by pressing the [ENTER] or [OK] button.
