How to turn on and off the Hama DIR355BT radio?

Press the [POWER] button (1) to turn on the radio. Press [POWER] again to switch to standby. For complete shutdown, unplug the AC adapter.

How to change the menu language?

From the main menu, go to 'Settings' > 'Language'. Select your preferred language from the 15 available (French, English, German, etc.) and confirm with the [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] button.

How to connect the radio to my WiFi network?

Make sure your WiFi router is turned on and the internet connection is working. On first startup, the setup wizard will guide you. Otherwise, go to 'Menu' > 'Network settings' > 'WiFi', select your network and enter the password.

How to use Spotify Connect on the radio?

Open the Spotify app on your phone, tablet or computer. Make sure the radio and your device are connected to the same WiFi network. Tap the Spotify Connect icon and select 'Hama DIR355BT'. You can now control playback from your device.

How to save a radio station as a preset?

Tune to the station you want to save. Press and hold one of the preset buttons [PRESET1] to [PRESET7] until a confirmation message appears. The station is now saved.

How to adjust the volume?

Turn the [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] knob (16) to the right to increase the volume or to the left to decrease it.

Can I use headphones with the radio?

Yes, the radio has a 3.5 mm headphone jack on the back (mark 19). Plug in your headphones for private listening. The built-in speaker is then disabled.

How to reset the radio to factory settings?

In the main menu, go to 'Settings' > 'Factory reset'. Confirm the reset. All your personal data (presets, WiFi networks) will be erased.

What to do if the radio cannot find a WiFi network?

Check that your WiFi router is on and the radio is within range. Make sure the radio's WiFi is enabled in the network settings. If the problem persists, restart your router and the radio.

How to clean the radio?

Use a soft, lint-free, slightly damp cloth. Never use harsh detergents, alcohol or abrasive products. Unplug the radio before cleaning.

• Ensure that the router is switched on, is functioning correctly and that there is a connection to the internet.
• Activate the WLAN function of your router.
• Follow your router's operating instructions as regards the correctfunctioningoftheWLANconnection.
• Then proceed directly as described under section 5, Getting started'.

• Press [POWER] (1) to switch on the radio.
• Press [POWER] (1), to switch the radio off (Standby).
• Tocompletelyswitchoffthedevice, disconnectitfrom thepowersupply.

5.1.2 NavigationandControl

• After pressing a shortcut button, navigate through the menuitemsusing.
- Selecttheindividualmenuitemsbyturning[VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] (16).
- Confirm the selection by pressing [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] (16).

5.1.3 Volume Adjustment

The first time it is used, theradio's default language is English. To change radio's menulanguage, proceedings follows:

• Confirm the selection by pressing [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] (16).
• Use [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] (16) to navigate to the "Language" menuitem. Confirm theselection by pressing [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] (16).
• Use [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] (16) to select your preferredsystemlanguage.
