1Hold the protective grille
2Fold the protective grille upwards, hook the protective grille into the detent of the raised container and insert it into the holder (protective grille).

Please do not allow motor oil, fuel, diesel fuel, or gasoline to enter the environment. Please protect the soil and dispose of used oil properly, do not cause damage to the environment.
Safety information on handling batteries
When handling batteries, the following precautionary instructions must be observed:
Checking and correcting the electrolyte level in the battery
CAUTION
In batteries where acid is added, the liquid level should be checked regularly.
- The density of the electrolyte of a fully charged battery is 1.28 kg/l at a temperature of 20°C - The density of the electrolyte of a partially charged battery is from 1.00 to 1.28 kg/l. - In all cells, the density of the electrolyte must be the same. → Remove all battery cell caps. Using a hydrometer, take samples from each cell. → Pour the electrolyte samples back into the same cells. → If the liquid level is too low, fill the cells with distilled water up to the mark. Charge the battery. → Replace the battery cell caps.
Charging the battery
Danger
Danger of injury! When working with batteries, observe safety rules. Follow the operating instructions issued by the manufacturer of the charging device.
Danger
Charge the battery only with a suitable charging device.

→ Remove all battery cell caps. Connect the positive cable (+) of the charging device to the positive terminal of the battery. Connect the negative cable (-) of the charging device to the negative terminal of the battery. → Plug the power cord into the mains and switch on the charging device. → The battery should be charged with a charging current of minimal current strength.
Note: After charging the battery, disconnect the charging device first from the mains, then from the battery.
Removing the battery
Disconnect the positive clamp from the negative terminal (-). Disconnect the positive clamp from the positive terminal (+). Leave the retainer on the battery base. Remove the battery from the holder. → Used batteries must be disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations.
Checking the oil level
Danger
→ Danger of burns! Check the oil level in the engine no earlier than 5 minutes after switching off the engine.

1 Cap, oil filler opening
2 Oil level indicator Pull out the oil level indicator. Wipe the indicator and insert it again. Pull out the oil level indicator. Read the oil level reading. Insert the oil dipstick again.

- The oil level should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks. - If the oil level is below the MIN mark, add oil. - Do not fill oil above the MAX mark. Open the filler cap and the oil filler opening. Fill with engine oil. Oil type: see "Technical data". Close the oil filler opening. → Wait at least 5 minutes. Check the oil level in the engine.
Replace the engine oil and oil filter
△DANGER
Danger of burns!
→ To replace the engine oil and the engine oil filter, let the machine cool down so that there is no danger of burns.
