ENGLISH Dear Customer, Thank you for purchasing this Hendi appliance. Read this user manual carefully, paying particular attention to the safety regulations outlined below, before installing and using this appliance for the first time. Safety instructions
- Only use the appliance for the intended purpose it was de- signed for, as described in this manual.
- The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by in
correct operation and improper use.
DANGER! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Do not attempt to repair the appliance by yourself. Do not immerse the electrical parts of the appliance in water or other liquids. Never hold the appliance under running water.
- NEVER USE A DAMAGED APPLIANCE! Check the electrical connections and cord regularly for any damage. When dam
aged, disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Any repairs should only be carried out by a supplier or qualified person to avoid danger or injury.
- WARNING! When positioning the appliance, route the power cable safely if necessary to avoid unintentional pulling, being damaged, coming into contact with the heating surface, or causing a tripping hazard.
- WARNING! As long as the plug is in the socket the appliance is connected to the power supply.
- WARNING! ALWAYS switch off the appliance before discon
necting from the power supply, cleaning, maintenance or storage.
- Only connect the appliance to an electrical outlet with the voltage and frequency mentioned on the appliance label.
- Do not touch the plug/electrical connections with wet or damp hands.
- Keep the appliance and electrical plug/connections away from water and other liquids. If the appliance falls into wa
ter, remove the power supply connections immediately. Do not use the appliance until it has been checked by a certified technician. Failure to follow these instructions will cause life threatening risks.
- Connect the power supply into an easily accessible electrical outlet so you can disconnect the appliance immediately in case of emergency.
- Make sure the cord does not come in contact with sharp or hot objects and keep it away from open fire. Never pull the power cord to unplug it from the socket, always pull the plug instead.
- Never carry the appliance by its cord.
- Never try to open the housing of the appliance yourself.
- Do not insert objects into the housing of the appliance.
- Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
- This appliance should be operated by trained personnel in kitchen of the restaurant, canteens or bar staff, etc.
- This appliance should not be operated by persons with re
duced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or persons that have a lack of experience and knowledge.
- This appliance should, under any circumstances, not be used by children.
- Keep the appliance and its electrical connections out of reach of children.
- Never use accessories or any extra devices other than those supplied with the appliance or recommended by the manu
facturer. Failure to do so could pose a safety risk to the user and could damage the appliance. Only use original parts and accessories.
- Do not operate this appliance by means of an external timer or remote-control system.
- Do not place the appliance on a heating object (gasoline, electric, charcoal cooker, etc.).
- Do not cover the appliance in operation.
- Do not place any objects on top of the appliance.
- Do not use the appliance near any open flames, explosive or flammable materials. Always operate the appliance on a horizontal, stable, clean, heat-resistant and dry surface.
- The appliance is not suitable for installation in an area where a water jet could be used.
- Leave a space of at least 20 cm around the appliance for ven
tilation during use.
- WARNING! Keep all ventilation openings on the appliance free from obstruction. Special safety instructions
- CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS! HOT SURFACES! The temperature of the accessible surfaces are very high during use. Touch only the control panel, handles, switches, timer control knobs or temperature control knobs.
- Necessary changes may only be done by a qualified techni

- Suitable for pans between Ø180-240 mm.
- Check the tubing or the flexible hose once a month and each time the cylinder is changed.
- This appliance shall be installed in conformity with the cur
rent regulations and used only indoor in a well-ventilated location. Consult the instructions before installing and using the appliance.
- Approved gas regulator (EN16129:2013) is used according to appliances categories and countries listed in data plate. Approved flexible hose would be changed when the national conditions require it and consult the local regulations, these may differ.
- Only use this appliance indoor in a well ventilated area.
- These instructions are only valid if the country code appears on the appliance. If the code does not appear on the appli
ance, refer to the technical instructions for adapting the ap- pliance to the conditions for use in that country.
- This appliance is only for professional use and it may be used by qualified people. Intended use
- This appliance is intended for professional use and be oper- ated only by qualified personnel.
- The appliance is designed for cooking a variety of food via heating the suitable cookware. Any other use may lead to damage to the appliance or personal injury.
- Operating the appliance for any other purpose shall be deemed a misuse of the device. The user shall be solely liable for improper use of the device. Grounding installation This appliance is classified as protection class I and must be connected to a protective ground. Grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. This appliance is fitted with a power cord with grounding plug or electrical connections with grounding wire. The connections must be properly installed and grounded. Residual risks
- Keep unskilled personnel away from the appliance.
- Open the door of the oven carefully - hot fumes might come out violently causing burns and injuries.
- Never wash the appliance using a water or steam jet.
- Avoid incorrect gas installation. The correct gas connection is mentioned on a gas label.
- Do not use the door handle to move the appliance. The glass panel might break and cause injuries.
- Always place the removable cooking top parts correctly in their housing. Placing them incorrectly might cause anoma

- In case of handwiring an omnipolar switch with a minimum contact opening of 3 mm must be installed between the ap
pliance and the mains.
Terminal board connection steps
- The terminal board is located at the back of the appliance. To access it open the cover by prying it open using a screwdriver on the two side tabs.
- Loosen the cable clamp screw and feed the cable through the entry.
- Arrange conductors so that the ground conductor is the last to disconnect in case of tension on the cable.
- Connect wires as follow: L - phase (brown or black); N - neu
tral (blue); ground - yellow-green.
- Tighten the clamp screw.
- Close the terminal board cover. Gas connection
- The gas connection must be performed by a qualified techni- cian in accordance with current regulations.
- Gas supply pipe must be rigid and made of copper or stain
less steel approved for gas installations.
- Threaded connection: GJ 1/2”. Installation
- Check gas compatibility. Ensure that the appliance is suitable for the type of gas being supplied.

- Confirm the nozzle diameter matches the value printed on the nozzle and in the table.

- The appliance is factory-set for natural gas (G20).
- For liquified gas (G30/G31: light the burner at minimum set
- Using a screwdriver, fully tighten the by-pass adjustment screw, located on the side of the burner tap shaft.
- Check that the flame is stable and even.
- Seal the screw with red varnish after completing adjustment.
- NOTE! No air regulation is needed for the burners.

1) or between two pieces of furniture (class 2 - subclass 1).
- The appliance must be installed in a way, that prevents ac
cess to live electric parts and protects nearby furniture from overheating.
- Lower quality adhesives or materials may wrap or detach due to heat exposure.

Preparation before use
- Remove all protective packaging and wrapping.
- Check that the device is in good condition and with all ac
cessories. In case of incomplete or damaged delivery, please contact the supplier immediately. In this case, do not use the device.
- Clean the accessories and the appliance before use (See ==> Cleaning & Maintenance).
- Make sure the appliance is completely dry.
- Place the appliance on a horizontal, stable and heat resistant surface that is safe against water splashes.
- Keep the packaging if you intend to store your appliance in the future.
- Keep the user manual for future reference. NOTE! Due to manufacturing residues, the appliance may emit a light odor during the first few uses. This is normal and does not indicate any defect or hazard. Make sure the appliance is well ventilated. Operating instructions Cooktop use
- Identify the correct burner. The solid black dot next to each knob indicates which burner it controls.
- Press and turn the knob counterclockwise for the large flame position. At the same time press the ignition button (marked with a spark symbol) - the flame should appear.
- Keep holding the knob for 6-8 seconds to heat the flame safe
ty device (thermocouple).
- Release the knob and set it to the desired flame level - low, medium or high.
- If the flame goes out, wait 1 minute before re-igniting.
- Use only flat bottomed pots and pans. 180 mm for semi-fast burner (front right), 220 mm for fast burners, 240 mm for tri
- Avoid prolonged use of griddle plates - they can overheat and damage the enamel. Using the oven with timer
- Turn the timer knob to desired time (up to 120 minutes). As from now, the appliance is in operation. When the set time elapses, the appliance switches off automatically.
- Turn the timer knob to the position indicated by the hand icon to turn on the manual mode.
- The oven thermostat indicator light goes off whenever the oven reaches the selected temperature, and turns on again when the thermostat operates to re-establish the selected temperature.
- The inside light is always on when the oven is operating. For cleaning, while the oven is turn off, turn the temperature knob to position with lightbulb icon to turn the light on. Oven use tips
- Use the temperature knob to warm the oven to the desired temperature before placing food inside the chamber.
- After reaching the desired temperature place food inside and set cooking time.
- Turn the oven 5 minutes before the theoretical time elapses in order to use stored heat. Grill use
- Using the grill requires the door to be closed.
- Use a little oil on the food to be grilled. Put the grill in the guides nearest or furthest from the grill heating element depending on the product, to avoid burning the surface and undercooking the inside.
- Pouring 1 or 2 glasses of water in the hollow of gravy drip tray will prevent fumes due to drops of gravies and fat. When cooking, always put the gravy drip tray on the first guides from the bottom. Cleaning & maintenance
- ATTENTION! Always disconnect the appliance from the pow- er supply and cool down before storage, cleaning & main- tenance.
- Do not use water jet or steam cleaner for cleaning and do not push the appliance under the water as the parts will get wet and electric shock might be resulted.
- If the appliance is not kept in a good state of cleanliness, this can adversely affect the life of the appliance and result in a dangerous situation.
- Food residues should be regularly cleaned and removed from the appliance. If the appliance is not cleaned properly, it will reduce its lifespan and may result in a dangerous condition during use. Cooktop cleaning
- Wash cootop’s grills with water and mild liquid detergents.
- Wash the flame-traps and flame-traps caps with water and mild liquid detergent. Make sure to remove any food residues.
- Dry the caps thoroughly and check if the flame-trap holes are not obstructed.
- Clean the terminal sections of the electrical ignition plugs. Enamelled and stainless steel elements cleaning
- The enamalled and stainless steel parts should be washed with lukewarm soapy water and dried using a soft cloth. For stubborn stains, use standard (non-abrasive) detergents or a bit of warm vinegar. Stainless steel surfaces can be kept shiny with specialized products available on the market. General cleaning
- Clean the cooled exterior surface with a cloth or sponge slightly dampened with a mild soap solution.
- Remove the guides and clean the inside of the oven while it is still slightly warm, also using a cloth or sponge slightly dampened with a mild soap solution. Dry it carefully.17
- For reasons of hygiene, the appliance should be cleaned be- fore and after use.
- Avoid water contacting the electrical components.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Never use aggressive cleaning agents, abrasive sponges, or cleaning agents containing chlorine. Do not use steel wool, metallic utensils, or any sharp or pointed objects for clean
ing. Do not use petrol or solvents!
- No parts are dishwasher safe. Oven door cleaning
- Fully open the door.

- Switch the appliance off and disconnect them from the mains.
- Unscrew the protective cap in glass (fig. X)
- Unscrew the lamp and replace it with another high tempera
ture resistant bulb (up to 300°C).
- Refit the glass cap and power up the appliance. Maintenance
- Check the operation of the appliance regularly to prevent se

- All maintenance, installation and repair work must be car
ried out by specialised and authorised technicians, or recom- mended by the manufacturer. Transportation and Storage
- Before storage, always make sure that the appliance has been disconnected from the power supply and completely cooled down.
- Store the appliance in a cool, clean and dry place.
- Never place heavy objects on the appliance as this could damage it.
- Do not move the appliance while it is under operation. Dis
connect the appliance from power supply when moving and hold it at the bottom. Warranty Any defect affecting the functionality of the appliance which becomes apparent within one year after purchase will be re
paired by free repair or replacement provided the appliance has been used and maintained in accordance with the instructions and has not been abused or misused in any way. Your statutory rights are not affected. If the appliance is claimed under war
ranty, state where and when it was purchased and include proof of purchase (e.g. receipt). In line with our policy of continuous product development we reserve the right to change the product, packaging and docu
mentation specifications without notice. Discarding & Environment When decommissioning the appliance, the prod- uct must not be disposed of with other household waste.
