How to start the Kärcher KM 75/40 W Bp Pack sweeper?
Make sure the hood is closed and the brake is released. Turn the main switch to position "1". The rotating brush and side brush rotate. To move forward, pull the forward travel lever. The speed is continuously adjustable with the lever position.
How to empty the dust container?
Stop the motor and remove the key. Pull the container closing handle upward, then remove the dust container. Empty it and replace it by pushing the handle downward. The maximum permitted container weight is 40 kg.
How to clean the dust filter?
Pull the filter cleaning handle (located on the hood) several times to shake off the dust. For thorough cleaning, open the hood, unscrew the filter cover screw, remove the filter and replace it if necessary. Never wash the filter.
How to change the rotating brush?
Stop the machine and remove the key. Remove the dust container and batteries. Tilt the machine forward, lift the large debris flap, then remove the rotating brush. Place a new brush onto the drive pins and engage the bearing on the other side. Then adjust the sweeping track.
How to adjust the sweeping track?
Lift the front of the machine and move it forward on a dusty floor. Brake, then let the brush run for 15 to 30 seconds. The track should form a rectangle 30 to 40 mm wide. Adjust the adjusting levers (left/right) in the appropriate holes: lower = wider track, higher = narrower track.
What to do if the machine does not start?
Check that the hood is properly closed (hood switch). Check the battery charge and fuses. If the problem persists, contact Kärcher after-sales service.

Operation

Danger

Long hours of using the appliance can cause circulation problems in the hands on account of vibrations.

It is not possible to specify a generally valid operation time, since this depends on several factors:

  • Proneness to blood circulation deficiencies (cold, numb fingers).
  • Low ambient temperature. Wear warm gloves to protect hands. A firm grip impedes blood circulation.
  • Continuous operation is worse than an operation interrupted by pauses.

In case of regular, long-term operation of the device and in case of repeated occurrence of the symptoms (e.g. cold, numb fingers) please consult a physician.

Operation

Starting

Prolonged use of the device may lead to circulatory disorders in the hands due to vibration.

It is not possible to specify a specific usage time for the device, as this depends on several factors:

  • Predisposition to poor blood circulation (e.g., cold fingers, tingling in the fingers). Low ambient temperature. Wear warm gloves to protect your hands. This prevents circulatory disorders.
  • Continuous work is worse than work with breaks.
