If the paint spray continues to flow when you release the trigger, here’s how to intervene immediately:

Emergency Stop

Set the combined ON/OFF switch to the “0” (zero) position. This is the main button that controls the complete power supply of the device. Even if the trigger is unresponsive, this button should always stop the spray.

If the ON/OFF button does not work

Immediately unplug the device from the electrical outlet to completely cut off the power supply.

After Stopping: Checks

Clean the trigger: a buildup of dried paint may block it in the pressed position. Clean it with water or the appropriate solvent.
Check the flow adjustment ring: on the W 500 model, the trigger has an adjustment ring. Ensure that it turns freely and is not stuck.
Check the valve operation: the manual reminds that “the device can only operate correctly if the valve is in good condition.”

Ongoing Problem
