How to put the TempSpray H226 into service?
Place the drum next to the Airless device, unroll the high-pressure hose completely, screw the connection hose onto the Airless, and the gun onto the paint hose. Plug into a grounded socket with residual current circuit breaker. Turn on the device using the START button.
How to adjust the heating temperature?
Use the + and - buttons to set the temperature between 20 and 60 °C. Confirm by pressing START within 3 seconds. Above 43 °C, the display flashes to indicate risk of burns.
What to do if the screen shows an error code?
Refer to the 'Remedy for disturbances' section in the manual. For example, Err0 indicates a defective insulation, Err1 an electronic failure. In all cases, unplug the device for 30 seconds before plugging it back in. If the error persists, contact Wagner after-sales service.
What types of paint can I use?
Use lacquers and paints dilutable with water or solvents, dispersions, latex paints, two-component products (observe pot life). Max viscosity 25,000 mPas. Check the flash point: it must be higher than the heating temperature + 5 K, and at least 21 °C.
How to clean the device after use?
Release pressure, turn off heating, then rinse with a suitable solvent (flash point >21 °C) by pumping into a grounded container. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth. Never use water jet or steam.
What are the important safety instructions?
The device is not explosion-proof. Do not use in explosive areas. Always ground the object to be painted and the hose. Wear gloves if T>43 °C. Check the hose before each use. Do not repair a damaged hose.
Can I use the TempSpray H226 for varnishes?
Yes, but follow the explosion safety regulations. For very fluid varnishes, the H126 model is more suitable. The H226 is suitable for viscosities up to 25,000 mPas.
How to maintain the device?
Before each use, visually inspect the high-pressure hose and power cord. Have an annual check by Wagner after-sales service. Check the hose conductivity: <1 MΩ for the H226. Replace the hose every 6 years.
What to do in case of prolonged work interruption?
Release pressure in the hose and turn off heating. If using quick-drying or two-component paints, rinse the device within the use time to avoid drying.
