Description

This product is designed to lift, support, and apply controlled force, which is also ideal for applications where accessibility is limited. It is useful for rigging professionals, manufacturers, welders, and workshops specializing in automotive body and frame construction, and is widely used in industries such as power, chemical, steel, bridge construction, and machinery.
This product must be used in conjunction with a hydraulic pump, as standalone use will not provide sufficient pressure for normal operation.
Note: The pump is not included in the product packaging.
Each hydraulic cylinder is sold individually and is not part of a set.
Model Variations:
The 10T and 20T models consist of two sections.
- Models 30T and above consist of three sections.
Hydraulic Pump Compatibility:
- The 10T/20T models require the MSW-HPM-01 hydraulic pump.
The 30T/50T/100T models can be used with either the MSW-HPM-01 hydraulic pump or an electric pump.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from unintended use of the device.

Operation
Working environment
Ensure the product operates within suitable environmental conditions (-10^ to +40^ , relative humidity 70% ). Using it in extreme conditions may reduce the service life of the hydraulic cylinders.
For proper functioning, all hydraulic cylinders must be placed on a flat, solid surface. Placing it on loose or sandy ground may lead to damage.
Installation instructions
- Inspect the hydraulic cylinder thoroughly for any external transport damage before unpacking.
- Ensure all components are free from dust, hazardous materials, and moisture. Verify that hoses, pipes, and hydraulic parts are clean and free from any unsuitable liquids, abrasive particles, or contaminants. Confirm that all hoses, pipes, and valves are properly connected.
- Before installation, lubricate all bearings and pins (if applicable) on the hydraulic cylinder.
- Ensure no lateral loads act on the cylinder's centre section. All load forces must align fully parallel to the cylinder's axis, as lateral or radial loads can lead to irreversible damage.
- Attach the quick connector of the pump to the hydraulic cylinder. Select the desired position, then tighten the hydraulic pump drain screw on the hydraulic pump to begin operation.
- Secure all hydraulic connections, and fully hand-tightening couplers to ensure proper oil flow between the pump and cylinder.
- After use, to lower the piston rod, turn the manual oil control knob slightly counterclockwise. This allows the hydraulic cylinder to release pressure, causing the piston rod to gradually descend. DO NOT Release it too quickly, which may cause a dangerous sudden drop.
Note: The product features an automatic retraction function. Simply release the switch, and the extended portion will automatically align.

WARNING!
- Keep clear of the piston rod's path and exercise caution when connecting hose couplings.
Note that adding attachments or extensions to a hydraulic system reduces the cylinder's capacity to that of the lowest-rated component in use. To prevent plunger rotation during attachment, extend the plunger and apply sufficient pump force to secure it while adding the attachment or extension.
Leakage check
- Inspect visually for any leaks around the hydraulic cylinder.
- If no leaks are observed, conduct a low-pressure test (up to 25% of the rated pressure).
- Test the cylinder in both extended and retracted positions, holding each for 5 minutes to confirm stable pressure.
- Perform a high-pressure test (design pressure) with the cylinder fully extended and retracted, holding each position for 5 minutes to verify the pressure stability at specified levels.
- Once all tests are completed with no detected issues, the hydraulic cylinder is ready for use.

NOTICE!
- This product is designed with a spring-return structure, allowing it to be removed quickly after lifting. However, DO NOT pull the cylinder using the attached hose.
- Do not exceed the maximum working pressure outlined in this manual.
Cleaning and maintenance
General maintenance
- Inspect hydraulic cylinder parts monthly for signs of damage, corrosion, or wear.
- Whenever possible, protect the hydraulic system and components from environmental hazards. Verify that joints and connectors are securely fastened; loose connections may result in oil leaks, causing both equipment damage and environmental contamination.
- Regularly monitor oil temperature and cleanliness. Ensure the oil temperature does not exceed 70^ to avoid damage to hydraulic cylinder gaskets.
- Do not use high-pressure jet nozzles to clean the cylinder, as this may damage paint, gaskets, and bearings. Refrain from dismantling the hydraulic cylinder; if parts need replacement, contact us. Unauthorized dismantling will void the warranty.
- Oil cleanliness inspections can be performed by certified hydraulic operators.
Maintenance of main components
1. Piston rod
Grease the piston rod at least once a month. If the hydraulic cylinder is exposed to salt, it should be pressurized at least twice a week. This helps extend the service life of the hydraulic cylinder.
- Inspect the piston rod surface monthly for any damage. The hydraulic cylinder's oil generally protects the piston rod.
- Ensure the exposed portion of the piston rod (the area not in oil contact) is always protected.
2. Cylinder body
- Check for any paint damage or cracks monthly. All paint damage must be repaired immediately.
3. Bearings
- For hydraulic cylinders with bearings, grease or inspect the bearings monthly. Failing to grease bearings reduces their service life significantly.
- Maintenance-free bearings may not be greased!
Storage
If the hydraulic cylinder will not be put into service immediately, take the following protective steps:
- Transport and handling: Keep the piston rod fully retracted during transport and lifting.
- Extended storage with rod extended: If the chromium-plated cylinder rod is extended during transport or storage, apply anti-corrosion grease to protect the exposed rod.
-
Long-term horizontal storage: If stored horizontally for over four months, slight pressure drops and/or oil leaks may occur between the chromium-plated rod and front cover. This results from continuous pressure on the piston gasket and front cover packing. To restore the seal's original shape, cycle the cylinder to full stroke approximately 10 times under pressure.
-
Periodic pressurization: Even when not in use, activate and pressurize hydraulic cylinders every 3-4 months to maintain the elasticity of gaskets and packings, ensuring they retain the necessary compressive strength and sealing capability. For outdoor storage after required operation cycles, reapply anti-corrosion grease to any extended rods. Ensure extended rods are shielded from mechanical damage, as such damage is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
- Storage position: Store hydraulic cylinders in a horizontal position, free from any tension or load.
- Storage conditions: Store hydraulic cylinders indoors at temperatures between -10^ and +40^ , in a dry environment shielded from direct sunlight. Relative humidity should ideally be below 70% .
Disposing of used devices
When the product becomes damaged or unserviceable due to normal mechanical wear, it must be disposed of in compliance with the applicable waste regulations of your country.
