USER MANUAL RollPilot D12 Laserliner
Intended use The electronic distance measuring wheel is designed for use on straight lines and curves. The electronic measuring wheel provides measured distance values exact to the centimetre over distances of up to 9,999.99 m. The moving pointer shows the exact start and end positions. The folding design and transport case make the measuring wheel easy to carry. General safety instructions – The device must only be used in accordance with its intended purpose and within the scope of the specications. – Keep the measuring device away from children. – The structure of the device must not be modied in any way. – Do not expose the device to mechanical stress, extreme temperatures or signicant vibration. – Avoid moisture and sand; clean thoroughly after use – Note risk of crushing when assembling from the transport position – Please ensure compliance with the safety regulations set out by local and national authorities with regard to the correct and proper use of the device. – Switch off the device before removing the battery. Safety instructions Dealing with electromagnetic radiation – The measuring device complies with electromagnetic compatibility regulations and limits in accordance with the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU which is covered by the Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU. – Local operating restrictions – for example, in hospitals, aircraft, petrol stations or in the vicinity of people with pacemakers – may apply. Electronic devices can potentially cause hazards or interference or be subject to hazards or interference. – The measuring accuracy may be affected when working close to high voltages or high electromagnetic alternating elds. Open the battery compart- ment (6) and insert a 9 V battery. Correct polarity must be observed. Insert battery
Hold function The Hold function is active when the Hold symbol appears on the display and the measured value ashes. The current measured value is held.08 1x 1x
Previously saved measured values are overwritten.
The value M1 is always shown when the memory function is activated. The current measured value appears again as soon as it has been saved to the required location (M1 - M5).
Display lighting If visibility is poor, switch on the display lighting. In order to preserve the batteries, the lighting switches off automatically after 15 seconds. Simply press the button again to switch the lighting back on.
Select unit of measure m (cm) / ft (in) The current measured value is deleted. Delete measured value

Calibration The meter needs to be calibrated and tested on a regular basis to ensure it produces accurate measurement results. We recommend carrying out calibration once a year.
