How to set up the ROCZ107 remote with my TV?

Turn on your TV. Press and hold the TV key until the LED flashes and stays on. Press POWER or Prog+/- to scroll through codes until the TV responds (e.g., turns off). Confirm by pressing MUTE.

What to do if the remote stops responding?

First check that the batteries are inserted correctly and in good condition. Replace them if necessary. Ensure you have selected the correct device (TV or STB) and that the remote is pointed at the device's infrared receiver. If the problem persists, reset the remote by removing the batteries for 30 seconds.

How to use the learning function?

Place the original remote and the ROCZ107 facing each other 3 cm apart. Simultaneously press MUTE and VOL+ until the LED stays on (learning mode). Press the key on the original remote, then press the key on the ROCZ107 where you want to assign the function. The LED flashes 3 times to confirm.

How to reset the remote to factory settings?

To delete all learned functions and return to default codes, press and hold the MUTE and POWER keys for about 6 seconds until the LED flashes 4 times. All programmed codes and functions will be erased.

Does the remote work with all TVs?

The ROCZ107 contains 350 preprogrammed codes for most TV and set-top box brands. If no code works, use automatic or manual search. It is possible that some advanced functions may not be available for very new or special models.

How to save battery?

The remote has a power-saving function: if a key remains pressed for more than 15 seconds (e.g., stuck under a cushion), it automatically shuts off. Additionally, use good quality alkaline batteries.

How to find the code already assigned to my device?

Use the code recognition function: press and hold the device key (TV or STB) until the LED flashes and stays on. Press AV twice. The LED will flash to indicate the code (e.g., 1 flash, pause, 2 flashes... corresponds to code 1234).

Can I control the volume of another device with the remote?

Yes, activate the volume Punch-Through function: press the key of the desired device (e.g., TV), hold VOL+, press the key of the other device (e.g., STB), then release VOL+. The LED flashes once. Deactivate similarly with VOL- (LED flashes twice).

How to turn on or off two devices at the same time?

Activate the Macro Power function: press the key of the first device (e.g., TV), hold POWER, press the key of the second device (e.g., STB), then release POWER. The LED flashes once. Deactivation: same procedure but the LED flashes twice.

What to do if the automatic code search finds no code?

Make sure the device is on and the remote is pointed correctly. If automatic search fails, try manual search (step 5.1). You can also adjust the search speed by holding Prog+ or Prog- during the 6 seconds before automatic search starts to switch to a speed of 3 seconds per code.

5.Setup

Note

To obtain a proper infrared (IR) transmission, allways point your Remote control in the approximated direction of the device you want to control.
Noentryforapprox.30secondswilltimeout theSetupmode.TheLEDindicatorshowssix flashesandturnsoff.
If you want to control a device, it's not possible while the Universal Remote Control is intheSetupMode.ExittheSetupmode and select the device you want to controlling the devices selection keys.

You can zap through these codes untilthedeviceyouwanttocontrolshowsa reaction. This mightbethatthedeviceyouwantto controlswitchesoff(POWERkey)orchangesthe channel(Prog+/-keys).

5.2AutoCodeSearch

AutoCodeSearchuseshestesamepreloadedcodes astheManualCodeSearch(5.2)butyourUniversal RemoteControlscannsthroughthecodesautomaticallyuntilthedeviceyouwanttocontrolshows a reaction.Thismighthethethedeviceyouwant tocontrolswitchesoff(POWERkey)orchangesthe channel(Prog+/-keys).

• The 2 remote controls must be at least 1m eterawayfromanylightsource.

7.2ENTERLEARNMODE

1. To teach a new function to the remote control, prestshedeviceselectionbuttonforthe relevantdevice(TVorSTB).
2. Pressandholdthe[MUTE]and[VOL+]keys for approx.3 secondsuntiltheLEDwillbelit.

3.TheUniversalRemoteControlisnowreadyto learnnewcommands.

7.3LEARNINGOFKEYS

1. Pressandreleasesdesiredkeyon the originalremotecontrolwhichyouwantthe commandtobelearned.TheLEDatyour UniversalRemoteControlwillflashtoconfirm thattheinformationhasbeenreceived.
2. Then press and release the target key on the Universal Remote Control you want learned.

3. If the LED flashes 3 times and then remain on, the command has been learned successfully.

4. Press the TV or STB button to save all learnt functionsandtoexitthelearningmode.
