INSERTING AND REMOVING THE BATTERY
The adapter can be inserted quickly and easily. To do this, fold the fastening mechanism of the battery cover outwards and release the tabs from their anchorage. The battery cover can then be removed (Fig. 1a - 1b). Now insert the matching adapter (Fig. 1c) into the Brennenstuhl interface and lock it with the red locking mechanism (Fig. 1d). Push the charged 18 Volt battery into the battery holder from the side until you feel it click into the end position (Fig. 1e). To remove the battery, press the battery release button and pull the battery to the side out of the battery holder. Then close the cover again (Fig. 1f). To ensure IP54 (dust and splash-proof), the oodlight may only be operated with the battery cover correctly closed. If the device is not used for a longer period of time, remove the rechargeable battery. The oodlight can also be operated without battery cover up to 12 Ah rechargeable batteries; in this case, the IP class will, however, be reduced to IP20 and the oodlight may only be operated in a dry environment. To do so, open the battery cover locking (Fig. 1a). Afterwards, remove the battery cover. 012422 BA_MULTI 360 12050_12052_12053 0533874.indd 10012422 BA_MULTI 360 12050_12052_12053 0533874.indd 10 14.02.23 11:5514.02.23 11:5511 MULTI 360 12050 / 12052 / 12053 MH Operating instructions OPERATION OF THE HYBRID MAINS FLOODLIGHT WITH RECHARGEABLE BATTERY To switch the oodlight on, press the button at the back (Fig. 2a). Press the switch multiple times (Fig. 2a) to set the brightness to 100%, then 75%, 50%, then 25% and then “o”. The lower the brightness selected, the longer the oodlight will burn. If the switch is left in any of its “on” positions for longer than 5 seconds, then pressing it once again will always turn it o. If the rechargeable battery is almost at and the connection cable is not connected, the LED oodlight will ash 5 times. Afterwards, the oodlight remains on for approx. 10 minutes with 50% brightness before it is switched o by the deep discharge protection function. If the connection cable is connected while the oodlight is switched on (Fig. 2b), the oodlight will ash 3 times and then automatically switch into mains operation with 100% light. OPERATION OF THE HYBRID FLOODLIGHT WITH POWER SUPPLY The oodlight can be connected to the mains via the cable (Fig. 2b). To switch the oodlight on, operate the button on the back (Fig. 2a). Press the switch multiple times (Fig. 2a) to set the brightness to 100%, then 75%, 50%, then 25% and then “o”. If the switch is left in any of its “on” positions for longer than 5 seconds, then pressing it once again will always turn it o. If the oodlight is connected to the mains, the rechargeable battery is not charged. If the oodlight is connected to the power supply, the oodlight is operated with mains voltage by default. In case of power failure or if the device is unplugged from the mains, the oodlight will automatically switch to battery operation if a rechargeable battery with sucient charging is inserted into the battery holder. This is signalled by the oodlight ashing three times. 012422 BA_MULTI 360 12050_12052_12053 0533874.indd 11012422 BA_MULTI 360 12050_12052_12053 0533874.indd 11 14.02.23 11:5514.02.23 11:5512 Operating instructions MULTI 360 12050 / 12052 / 12053 MH OPERATIONS Position the oodlight and switch it on with the switch.
