How to turn on and adjust brightness?

Press the switch (illustration 2a) to turn on. Pressing repeatedly cycles from 100% to 75%, then 50%, then 25%, then off. If the switch remains in position for more than 5 seconds, the next press turns off the device.

Can I use the projector while it is plugged into the mains?

Yes, the projector runs by default on mains when plugged in. In case of a power cut, it automatically switches to battery (if a charged battery is installed) and flashes 3 times.

Which batteries are compatible with this projector?

The projector accepts 18V batteries from Bosch, Makita, Metabo, Milwaukee/Dewalt via the included adapters. Check www.brennenstuhl.com for the full list.

Is the projector waterproof?

With the battery cover properly closed, the protection rating is IP54 (dust and splash water protection). With the cover open, it is IP20 (usable only in dry indoors).

Can I mount the projector on a tripod?

Yes, the projector can be mounted individually or in pairs on a Brennenstuhl tripod. For two projectors, use the cross bracket CB 70 1172640059 (sold separately).

How to clean the projector?

Disconnect it from the mains and remove the battery. Use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Never use solvents or abrasive products.

What to do if the battery is almost empty?

The projector flashes 5 times, then runs for about 10 more minutes at 50% power before the low-voltage protection turns it off.

Can the projector be used outdoors in rainy weather?

Yes, as long as the battery cover is closed, IP54 rating protects against water splashes. Avoid immersion.

How to install the battery?

Open the battery cover (illustration 1a‑1b), insert the appropriate adapter (1c) and lock it (1d). Slide the charged battery in from the side until it clicks (1e). To remove, press the release button (1f).

What to do if the light source no longer works?

The LED is not replaceable. If it reaches end of life, replace the entire projector. Do not attempt to open the device.

Attention: Before using the product, please carefully read the operating instructions and store them in a proper location!

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Always check the product for damage before use.

Never use the product in case of any damage. In case you find the product to be damaged, please refer to an electrician or the manufacturer's service address.

Non-compliance poses a risk of fatal injury from electrical current!

• Do not use the product in potentially explosive atmospheres - danger of death!
• Keep the floodlight away from children.

Children are not aware of the risks posed by electric current.

• For operating the floodlight, only use original rechargeable batteries of the manufacturers.

Use of other rechargeable batteries may cause damage.

Only use the supplied connection cable to operate the hybrid function.

• Please never look directly into the light.
• A destroyed protective cover cannot be replaced. The floodlight has to be disposed of.
• The outer flexible cable of this luminaire cannot be replaced.

Not suitable for applications with external dimmers.

If the minimum distance is not complied with, illuminated objects may overheat.

COMMISSIONING

Place the floodlight on a dry and level surface.

The adjustable bracket can be used to set various inclinations for the floodlight.

INSERTING AND REMOVING THE BATTERY

The adapter can be inserted quickly and easily.

To do this, fold the fastening mechanism of the battery cover outwards and release the tabs from their anchorage. The battery cover can then be removed (Fig. 1a - 1b).

Now insert the matching adapter (Fig. 1c) into the Brennenstuhl interface and lock it with the red locking mechanism (Fig. 1d). Push the charged 18 Volt battery into the battery holder from the side until you feel it click into the end position (Fig. 1e). To remove the battery, press the battery release button and pull the battery to the side out of the battery holder. Then close the cover again (Fig. 1f).

To ensure IP54 (dust and splash-proof), the floodlight may only be operated with the battery cover correctly closed.

If the device is not used for a longer period of time, remove the rechargeable battery.

The floodlight can also be operated without battery cover up to 12 Ah rechargeable batteries; in this case, the IP class will, however, be reduced to IP20 and the floodlight may only be operated in a dry environment. To do so, open the battery cover locking (Fig. 1a).

Afterwards, remove the battery cover.

Press the switch multiple times (Fig. 2a) to set the brightness to 100% , then 75% , 50% , then 25% and then "off".

The lower the brightness selected, the longer the floodlight will burn. If the switch is left in any of its "on" positions for longer than 5 seconds, then pressing it once again will always turn it off.

If the rechargeable battery is almost flat and the connection cable is not connected, the LED floodlight will flash 5 times. Afterwards, the floodlight remains on for approx. 10 minutes with 50% brightness before it is switched off by the deep discharge protection function.

If the connection cable is connected while the floodlight is switched on (Fig. 2b), the floodlight will flash 3 times and then automatically switch into mains operation with 100% light.

The floodlight can be connected to the mains via the cable (Fig. 2b).

To switch the floodlight on, operate the button on the back (Fig. 2a).

Press the switch multiple times (Fig. 2a) to set the brightness to 100% , then 75% , 50% , then 25% and then "off".

If the switch is left in any of its "on" positions for longer than 5 seconds, then pressing it once again will always turn it off.

If the floodlight is connected to the mains, the rechargeable battery is not charged.

If the floodlight is connected to the power supply, the floodlight is operated with mains voltage by default. In case of power failure or if the device is unplugged from the mains, the floodlight will automatically switch to battery operation if a rechargeable battery with sufficient charging is inserted into the battery holder. This is signalled by the floodlight flashing three times.

OPERATIONS

Position the floodlight and switch it on with the switch.

Standing: Place the floodlight on a dry, level surface.

Hanging: Hang the floodlight from a suitable pipe.

To compensate for different battery weights, the suspension hook can be moved (Fig. 1g - 1i).

CHARGING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY

Only use one of the manufacturer's original charging device.

TRIPODMOUNTING

The floodlight can also be mounted or hung on a Brennenstuhl stand, either individually or in pairs (Fig. 3a - 3d).

If two floodlights are mounted, the accessory crossbar "CB 70 1172640059" is required.

CLEANING

Disconnect the product from the mains voltage and remove the battery before cleaning.

Do not use solvents, caustic cleaning agents or similar products.

Only use a dry or slightly moistened cloth for cleaning.

MAINTENANCE

ATTENTION: The LED lamp does not contain components that require maintenance.

The light source of this lamp cannot be replaced. If the light source has reached the end of its service life, the entire lamp has to be replaced. The lamp may not be opened.
