Setting up your xDSL router
- Insert your xDSL modem router's power adapter to the DCIN port and plug it to a power outlet.
- Connect one end of the RJ-11 cable to the DSL port of your xDSL modem router, and connect the other end to the DSL port of your splitter.
- Turn on your xDSL modem router and wait for a few minutes for Internet connection.

- You can set up your router via wired or wireless connection.

Connect your computer to the router using a wired Ethernet cable.

Connect to the wireless network with the SSID shown on the product label on the back of the router.
- When the DSL/WAN LED stops flashing and lights constantly, you can start the DSL setup process via the QIS Wizard (Quick Internet Setup Wizard).
a. Open a web browser and enter http://router.asus.com to launch the web GUI. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
b. You can also choose the ASUS Router app to set up your router. Download the ASUS Router App to set up your router via your mobile devices.

NOTES:
- You can use either xDSL Modem or Ethernet WAN for Internet access.
- The default username and password for Web GUI are admin and admin.
- The auto-detection of your ISP connection type takes place when you configure your xDSL modem router for the first time or when your router is reset to its default settings. During the QIS process, you may need to key in the Internet account information that you obtained from your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

Setting up the xDSL router
- Connect the power adapter to your xDSL modem-router's power input, then plug it into a power outlet.
- Connect one end of an RJ-11 cable to the DSL port on your xDSL modem-router, then connect the other end to the DSL port on your splitter.
- Turn on your xDSL modem-router and wait a few minutes for the Internet connection.
- You can configure your xDSL router via a wired or wireless connection.

- Connect one end of the DSL cable to the DSL port on the wall and the other end to the DSL port on the router.
- Turn on the router and wait for the internet connection to be established.
- The router can be configured via a wired or wireless connection.

- Connect the DSL modem router to the DSL port on the wall and to the power outlet.
2. Connect the RJ-11 cable to the DSL port on the xDSL modem router, and the other end to the DSL port on the wall jack.
- Turn on the xDSL modem router and wait a few minutes for the Internet connection.
- You can set up the DSL-AX82U via wired or wireless connection.

- [Wireless connection] Connect to the network (SSID) indicated on the label on the back of the router.
- If the DSL/WAN LED stops blinking and remains steady, you can start the DSL setup process through the quick setup wizard from the Internet.
