1. General description

The user manual is designed to assist in the safe and trouble-free use of the device. 2. Usage safety

ATTENTION! Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in serious injury or even death.

2.1. Safe device use

a) If you are unsure about whether the product is operating correctly or if you find damage, please contact the manufacturer's service centre.

b) Only the manufacturer's service centre may make repairs to the product. Do not attempt to make repairs yourself!
c) Please keep this manual available for future reference. If this device is passed on to a third party, the manual must be passed on with it.
d) Keep packaging elements and small assembly parts in a place not available to children.
e) The device is not a toy. Cleaning and maintenance may not be carried out by children without supervision by an adult person.
f) It is forbidden to interfere with the structure of the device in order to change its parameters or construction.
g) Keep the device away from sources of fire and heat.
h) Do not overload the device.
i) Exceeding the maximum permissible user weight can damage the product.
j) Keep the product in good working order. Before each use, check that there is no general damage or damage related to moving parts (cracks in parts and components or any other conditions that may affect the safe operation of the product). In case of damage, have the product repaired before use.

3. Use guidelines

The product is intended only to facilitate walking. The product should only be used on flat, hard surfaces. Do not use the product on uneven ground, potholes or shaky surfaces.

The product is not a medical device.

The product is outside the scope of the MDD 93/42/ EEC regulations for medical devices.

The product is intended for home use only.

The user is liable for any damage resulting from unintended use of the device.

3.1. Device description

3.2. Assembling the device / Device use UNI\_ROLL\_05 F

3.2.1. Wheel assembly

Fit the front wheel into the socket at the front of the frame while pressing the locking pin. The locking pin will pop out when the wheel is securely fastened. Install the second front wheel in the same way (fig. 1-2):

Fit the rear wheel into the socket located at the rear of the frame while pressing the locking pin. The locking pin will pop out when the wheel is securely fastened. Install the second rear wheel in the same way. (Figure 3-5):

When attaching the rear wheels, make sure that the wheels are on the outside of the frame and the brake linkage is on the underside.

3.2.2. Handle assembly

Fix the handles by pressing the locking pin on the base of the handle assembly and sliding it into the socket on the main frame. Repeat these steps on the other side. (Figure 6-7):

3.2.3. Arm tube assembly

Insert the brake handle tube into the main frame, adjust it to the desired length and then tighten the screw. Repeat this operation on the other side (fig. 8-9):

3.2.4. Removing/attaching the transport bag

Attach the bag to the hook of the seat frame. The shopping bag can be easily detached during use (fig. 10):

3.2.5. Mounting the cane holder

Attach the cane holder to the base, the base of the cane holder is located in the lower left corner of the frame (Figure 11):

3.2.6. Unfolding the rollator

Position the rollator on the wheels. Unfold it by pressing on both sides of the seat frame until it opens fully and a "click" can be heard. At this point, the locking mechanism under the seat is activated (fig. 12).

3.2.7. Height adjustment

Press the handle button below, as shown in Figure 13, and simultaneously pull the handle upwards. When the handle has moved, release the button. This will automatically lock in the next possible height. Repeat this process until the desired height is reached.

3.2.8. Braking / locking

Pull both brake levers upwards to apply the brakes when the rollator is in motion (Fig. 14). Always brake slowly and evenly.

Press both brake levers downwards to activate the locks when the rollator is stationary (fig. 15). To release the locks, pull the brake levers upwards. The operation of the brakes can be affected by wheel wear. Check the brakes regularly.

3.2.9. Brake adjustment

Figure 16 - brake force adjustment. The brake adjustment nut is located at the bottom of the brake cable, above the rear wheel on both sides.

Using a 10mm spanner, loosen the lock nut counterclockwise.

Use an 8mm spanner to adjust the tension on the brakes. To tighten the brakes, turn the adjusting nut counterclockwise.

Note: When the brake lever is released, there must be a small gap between the brake mechanism and the wheel.

3.2.10. Seat

Position the rollator on a level and firm surface. Lock the brakes (parking position). The rollator must stand and must not slip. Sit up straight and do not lean back.

DO NOT MOVE THE ROLLATOR WHILE SITTING ON IT.

3.2.11. Folding / transport / storage

To fold the rollator, pull the seat upwards by the handle at the seat point, as shown in Figure 17. The rollator can now be fully folded and secured by pushing the hand grips towards each other (Figure 17-18).

3.3. Assembling the device / Device use UNI\_ROLL\_07 F

3.3.1. Unfolding the rollator

Pull the button by hand on one side and perform the same action on the other side. Then turn the main frame clockwise until a "click" sound is heard. This indicates that the rollator frame is secured in the extended position (figure 1 & 2).

Unfold the rollator by pressing on both sides of the seat frame until it opens fully and there is an audible "click". At this point, the locking mechanism under the seat (Figure 3 & 4) engages.

3.3.2. Handle assembly

Insert the handles into the base of the handle assembly and slide into the socket on the main frame. Repeat on the other side. (Figures 5 and 6)

3.3.3. Height adjustment

Turn the knob counterclockwise, adjust the push handle up and down to the desired height, then tighten the knob clockwise until it stops. Adjust both sides to the same comfortable height (Figure 7).

3.3.4. Backrest assembly

Slide the backrest into the slot on the front of the handle (Figure 8).

3.3.5. Removing/attaching the transport bag

3.3.6. Braking / locking

3.3.7. Brakes adjustment

To adjust the braking force, refer to Figure 12.

The brake adjustment nut is located at the bottom of the brake cable, above the rear wheel on both sides.

Use a 10mm spanner to loosen the lock nut counterclockwise.

Use an 8mm spanner to adjust the brake tension. To tighten the brakes, turn the adjusting nut counterclockwise.

Z Fasten the seat buckle to hold the rollator in the side fold position (figure 15).

Place the rollator in the folded position by pulling both buttons at the same time. Then rotate the upper frame counterclockwise (Figure 16 & 17).

3.4. Directions for use

• Use only as a walking aid!
• Only use on level and hard surfaces.
• Check the screws and fasteners of the rollator regularly and tighten them if necessary.
  • Use the bag only for transporting objects and do not overload it. Maximum load: 9 kg.
• Do not expose the product to temperatures above 40^ C for a prolonged period of time as this may cause parts of the rollator to overheat and burn the user.
• Ensure that the rollator is fully open, the seat is lowered and the folding bar under the seat is locked in the lowered position.
• Ensure that both knobs are fully tightened and are at equal heights. Check the stability of the rollator before fully loading the handles.
• Check the brake lever before starting the rollator. When the wheels are locked, the lock on the rear wheels should prevent the wheels from turning. When the locks are released, the wheels should turn freely.
• Always lock the brake lever before sitting down and do not use the seat when the machine is on an incline or uneven ground.
• Replace the tyres if they are severely worn or damaged.
• DO NOT MOVE THE ROLLATOR WHILE THE USER IS SITTING ON IT. It is a walking aid only and must not be used as a transport device.

3.5. Cleaning and maintenance

a) Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface. Mild detergents are recommended.
b) Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture and direct exposure to sunlight.
c) The device must be regularly inspected to check its technical efficiency and spot any damage.
d) Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
e) Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning (e.g. a wire brush or a metal spatula) because they may damage the surface material of the appliance.
f) Do not clean the device with an acidic substance, agents of medical purposes, thinners, fuel, oils or other chemical substances because it may damage the device.
g) After each cleaning, wipe the product with a dry cloth and protect metal joints from moisture with a suitable agent, e.g. WD40.
