Protection of the environment. Information on disposal of electrical and electronic equipment. According to Directive 13, paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Law of 11 September 2015 on disposal of electrical and electronic equipment, we inform you about the correct handling of waste electrical and electronic equipment:
- Collection and disposal of used electrical and electronic equipment together with other waste - this is prohibited by the symbol in the form of a "crossed-out wheelie bin", which requires separate collection of this type of waste.
- Electrical and electronic devices may contain hazardous substances, mixtures, and components that, if released into the living environment, can pose a serious threat to the health and life of people and living organisms. They can lead to various health problems, such as poisoning and intoxication, dryness and irritation. They can also damage the kidneys, liver, and spleen and cause chronic diseases. These substances, in turn, can negatively affect the respiratory and reproductive systems and lead to cancer. Consumption of plants that grow in contaminated soil and products made from them may pose a risk to human health.
- The used electrical and electronic equipment must be handed over only to authorized collection points. The list should be provided on the website and updated regularly.
- Households play a key role in contributing to the reuse and recovery of materials, including recycling, of used equipment. They also play a key role in the waste management system for used electrical and electronic equipment, enabling the proper transfer and disposal of waste to authorized collection points and the disposal of hazardous substances that result from the composition of waste equipment at unauthorized locations.
The device is intended for household use and for similar applications. When using the device for household purposes, follow the instructions for household use, provided the device is used in accordance with its intended purpose.
The cardboard packaging and the accompanying documentation (PE) must be disposed of in the appropriate containers for selective collection of household waste, as is customary. Since the device contains batteries, they must be removed and disposed of at a special collection point for batteries.
