IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

1. Before using the product please read carefully and always comply with the following instructions. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damages due to any misuse.
2. The product is only to be used indoors. Do not use the product for any purpose that is not compatible with its application.
3. The appliacable voltage is 230V, \~50Hz. Connect the kettle to the mains socket with ground circuit only. For safety reasons it is not appropriate to connect multiple devices to one power outlet.
4. Please be cautious when using around children. Do not let the children to play with the product. Do not let children or people who do not know the device to use it without supervision.
5. The product is not to be used by disabled or children unless used under adult (responsible for their safety) supervision accordingly to the instruction manual.
6. After you are finished using the product always remember to gently remove the plug from the power outlet holding the outlet with your hand. Never pull the power cable!!!
7. Never leave the product connected to the power source without supervision.
8. Never put the power cable, the plug or the whole device into the water. Never expose the product to the atmospheric conditions such as direct sun light or rain, etc.. Never use the product in humid conditions.
9. Periodically check the power cable condition. If the power cable is damaged the product should be turned to a professional service location to be replaced in order to avoid hazardous situations.

USAGE OF THE KETTLE

BEFORE FIRST USE...

Fill up the kettle with water, boil and pour. Repeat three times. To remove possible scent of manufactory, please boil few times water with citric acid.

1. Fill the kettle with water. Make sure that heating plate is fully immersed in water.
2. Place the appliance on the flat, even and heat resistant surface.
3. Plug the kettle to the 230\~50Hz mains, press ON/OFF switch. Indicator lamp will light.
4. After boiling water the kettle will automatically switch off.
5. Before taking the kettle out of the base make sure it is switched off.
6. The kettle can manually be switched off in any time by ON/OFF switch.
7. Keep lid closed during boiling process. Or the kettle won't automatically switch off.
8. After boiling, time demanded for the thermostat to be ready is 2 minutes. After this time kettle can be switched on again.
9. Regularly remove limestone sediment inside the kettle. Sediment may cause overheating of the kettle, shorten life cycle and cancel guarantee. Use mixings available in household stores or apply citric acid.
10. Switching empty kettle, or with insufficient level of water, will cause automate switching off the kettle. Wait till cool down the kettle, pour enough water and after few minutes switch the kettle on.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Regularly descale the kettle. Descaling doesn't belong to guarantee service. Lack of regular descaling causes damage of the elements of the appliance and cancels warranty of the product. Use a solution of citric acid or scale countera ent obtained in stores.
