CARRY-ALL BASKET

  1. To attach the carry-all basket to the stroller insert the fabric straps in the appropriate plastic slots located on the front (Fig. 5) and sides of the frame. (Fig. 5A). Fasten the side zippers to the rear tube of the frame (Fig. 5B) and close the velcro straps (Fig. 5C).

Finally, close the zipper that wraps around the rear tube (5D).

  1. The stroller is equipped with a restraint system with five anchoring points, consisting of two shoulder straps with related adjusting holes, two waist belts and a crotch strap with buckle, already assembled.

On the backrest there are three pairs of slots for adapting the height of the shoulder straps to the size of the child (Fig. 6)

WARNING: For use with children from birth to about 6 months the shoulder straps must be inserted in the lowest slots (Fig. 6 - no. 1); the length of the straps may need to be reduced so that they fit the size of the child.

WARNING: To adapt the belts to the body of the child, use the shoulder straps, passing them through the two adjustment holes as indicated in Figure 6.

After placing the child in the stroller, fasten the straps by first passing the two prongs through the slots on the shoulder straps (Fig. 6A) and then inserting them in the crotch strap buckle (Fig. 6B); adjust the length of the straps, ensuring that they adhere to the child's shoulders and waist correctly.

To unfasten the waist belt press the central button on the buckle (Fig. 6C).

WARNING: To ensure the safety of your child, you must use the crotch strap, waist belt and shoulder straps at the same time.

WARNING: After removal of the safety harness (e.g. for washing), ensure that the harness is reassembled correctly using the anchorage points. The harness must be re adjusted. To ensure that the harnesses are properly fastened (on the rear of the backrest), after having placed the child in the seat and fastened the harnesses, pull firmly on the ends of the harnesses.

WARNING: When the seat is in the forward facing position and the handle is completely lowered the inclination cannot be adjusted, to be able to complete the operation raise the handle by one position.

HOW TO ADJUST THE LEGREST

  1. The legrest has two positions. To adjust it, use the buttons on the sides of the legrest simultaneously (Fig. 11).

SWIVEL WHEELS

WARNING: You must remove all contents from the basket before closing the stroller.

  1. The stroller can be folded either without the seat or with the seat (in either configuration: forward facing or rearward facing).

Close the hood, raise and rotate the footrest folding it against the backrest (Fig. 16 - 16A), facing the front of the stroller, operate the folding device located under the seat: press the button while also rotating the release handle upwards. (Fig. 16B). The stroller will fold at this point.

To fold completely, carry out the operations above being sure that the backrest has been lowered into the first reclining position.

To remove the seat before folding the stroller, press the buttons located near the seat joints (Fig. 9C).

To reopen the stroller, lift the handle until a click confirms that it has opened; lower the legrest until a click is heard.

If the seat has been removed, lift the handle until a click confirms that the stroller has opened and then attach the seat to the frame.

To assemble the rain cover place it over the sun canopy fastening the elastic edge to the top of the hood (Fig. 17) and to the bottom edge of the legrest. (Fig. 17A).

After use, if wet, let the rain cover dry off before folding and storing it. The rain cover can be used both forward facing and parent facing. The rain cover can also be used with the MYSA carrycot.

WARNING: The rain cover cannot be used on the stroller without the hood being extended, as it may cause suffocation. When the rain cover is fitted on the stroller, never leave it exposed to direct sunlight with the child inside, as the temperature will rise considerably.

REMOVAL: REMOVING THE HOOD

  1. If the fabric needs to be removed from the hood for cleaning, follow these steps: open the velcro sections found on the rear of the backrest (Fig. 18), open the snap buttons on the top of the backrest (Fig. 18A); pull the fabric slot off of the backrest adjustment lever. Free the elastic bands located under the seat joints (Fig. 18B). Using a pointed object press on the plastic pins to free the joints from the lateral inserts (Fig. 18C) and pull the hood tube upwards to free it (Fig. 18D); at this point the fabric can be removed from the hood tube (Fig. 18E).

To reassemble the fabric and the hood carry out the operations in reverse order.

WARNING: The hood must be fixed on both sides of the stroller. Ensure that the canopy is correctly fastened.

REMOVING THE FABRIC:

  1. To easily remove the fabric from the seat, detach the seat from the frame (paragraph 9) and remove the bumper bar (paragraph 8).

WARNING: Do not leave the components unattended after removal, keep them out of reach of children.

Remove the crotch strap from the seat and the safety harnesses from the fabric by passing them through the appropriate slots (Fig. 19C, 19D); free the fabric from the frame by pulling upwards (Fig. 19E).

Free the footrest fabric from the track on the metal tube (Fig. 19F). Extract the plastic panel from the pocket located on the rear of the backrest (Fig. 19G). The fabric is now free and ready to be washed.

CUSHY HUG

The Cushy Hug was developed through collaboration between Chicco and the physiatrists and physiotherapists of the functional rehabilitation department at the Bambin Gesù pediatric hospital.

It is a multifunctional accessory designed to guarantee the well-being of the child accompanying the growth of the baby during the first months of life.

Included with the product is the Infant Positioner (fig. 1), which must only be used when fastened to the Cushy Hug by means of specific buttons; the Infant Positioner helps adjust the size of the reducer cushion, adapting it to the size of the child and guaranteeing that the baby's body receives support from the sides and bottom when taking a stroll.

Used with the carrycot, Cushy Hug helps maintain the proper alignment of the airways, helping keep them open, thanks to the mild incline between the areas that support the head and body of the baby.

Used with the stroller, Cushy Hug provides comfort and an accommodating seat; for very small children, the use of the Infant Positioner in combination with the Cushy Hug helps maintain physiological posture and ensures that the baby's torso is well contained, avoiding sinking or lateral slipping.

IMPORTANT – READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
