How to insert batteries into the Bosch Gluey?

Open the battery compartment located under the handle by sliding the cover downwards. Insert 4 AA (LR6) batteries respecting the indicated polarity (+ and -). Close the cover until it clicks.

What type of glue sticks should I use?

Use glue sticks with a 7 mm diameter, standard or high temperature. 11 mm sticks are not suitable.

How long does it take for the glue gun to heat up?

The Bosch Gluey reaches operating temperature in about 60 seconds. The LED lights up to indicate the device is ready.

What should I do if the glue does not flow?

Check that the batteries are fully charged. Wait until the glue gun is hot (LED on). If the problem persists, clean the nozzle with a damp cloth and remove any dried glue residue.

Can I use the glue gun continuously?

Yes, but prolonged use may cause overheating. It is recommended to take breaks of a few minutes every 10 minutes of use.

How to clean the glue gun?

Disconnect the batteries and allow to cool completely. Wipe the nozzle and body with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive products. For stubborn residues, heat slightly and remove gently.

Is the glue gun safe for children?

No, the Bosch Gluey heats up to 180 °C and can cause burns. Keep it out of reach of children and never use it unattended.

How to replace the nozzle if it is clogged?
