OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Mod. 640.01 - Professional Multi-styling Set with ions-Generator

Please read these operating instructions carefully as they include important information on

safety and how to use the equipment.

• To avoid dangerous overheating, it is advisable to unwind the entire length of the cord.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Switching the unit on

1. Insert the plug into the power socket.

2. To switch on the unit, slide the switch (2) to the required temperature setting.

3. Before using the appliance, leave the selected accessory heat up for at least 30 seconds.

4. To switch the unit off again, slide the switch (2) back to position 0.

Important: Never leave the appliance unattended when it is turned on.

Always use the stand (12) to hold the appliance when the fitted accessory is hot.

Changing the accessory

Only change the accessory with the appliance switched off and disconnected from the

electrical power supply. When changing accessories, only touch the plastic parts of the

appliance and the cold end (10) of the accessory. Metal parts may still be hot!

1. Press the accessory release button (4) and remove the accessory from the grip (1).

2. Fit the new accessory and push it firmly into the grip (1) until it clicks into place.

Dry your hair fully before using the appliance. Separate one lock of hair and insert it between

the hair clip (11) and the waving plate. Hold the accessory in position for a few seconds on

each section of hair. For a continuous wavy effect, position the waving plate on the last

wave in the previously waved section. For a tighter wave, do not touch your hair after waving

it. For a softer wave, open out the waves with your fingers or brush your hair gently to

To obtain ringlets and curls, insert the end of a lock of hair between the iron and the hair clip

(11) and rotate the appliance to wind the entire lock over the complete length of the iron

without overlapping. The greater the force you apply to wind your hair on the iron, and the

longer the curling time, the tighter the resulting curls will be. At the end of the curling time,

open the hair clip (11) and carefully remove your hair from the iron. To increase the duration

of the curl, wind it around one of your fingers while waiting for it to cool.

To create hair spirals, insert the end of a lock between the spiralling iron and the hair clip

(11). Wind the lock uniformly over the full length of the iron using the spiral as a guide. At

the end of the time, open the hair clip (11) and carefully remove your hair from the iron.

ION FUNCTION This product also has the “ION” function, which is always active during operation. The

appliance produces a flow of negative ions.

Ions are electrically charged particles found in nature. Negatively charged ions help to purify

the air by neutralising the positively charged ions that, by contrast, reduce its quality by

retaining in the atmosphere many polluting agents.

An abundance of negatively charged ions can be found after a thunder storm or at the

seaside or in the mountains, close to waterfalls and waterways where the feeling of well-

being is due to the increased presence of pure, natural, revitalising air.

Improved hydration of hair

Negatively charged ions help to maintain the proper hydration of your hair.

In particular, they micronize the water particles present on newly-washed hair, enabling the

stem to absorb more in order to restore the natural balance of your hair’s humidity.

Conditioning effect on the hair

Improved hydration assists with the conditioning of your hair, has a regenerating effect and

makes it softer and easier to comb, with greater volume and shine.

No electrostatic charge or “fly away” effect
