We're so excited to accompany you and your little one on your travels and keep them safe!

In this manual we'll explain to you all there is to know about your base.

It is important that you read this user manual BEFORE installing your seat. Incorrect installation could endanger your child.

Vital information

Installation & usage

• The child seat MUST NOT be installed in a front seat WITH AN ACTIVATED FRONTAL AIRBAG.
• The car list provided for this product can serve as a guideline for which positions in your vehicle the seat can fit.

But you must always check your vehicle manual if child seats of this type are allowed to be installed. The vehicle manual is the leading guideline and must always be followed.

• When using in Spain: Article 117 of the General Regulation of Traffic in Spain prohibits driving with children of stature height equal to or less than 135 centimeters located in the front seats of the vehicle, unless the vehicle does not have rear seats, all rear seats are already occupied by children below 135 cm or if it is not possible the install the child seat in the rear seat.
• This base can only be installed in a car equipped with ISOfix anchorage points approved according to UN/ECE Regulation No.14 or other equivalent standards.
• This base can be used in combination with BeSafe Go Beyond for stature height 40 - 87 cm, and BeSafe Beyond for stature height 61 - 125 cm.
• The floor support must always be used. Make sure that the floor support is fully pushed down until it touches the floor of the vehicle in front of the base and that the base is positioned horizontal in the vehicle with the spirit level in the green area. The indicators of the floor support should always show green.

Handling & maintenance

• Replace the product if it has been in a collision where the speed was 10 km/h and above or if there is a suspicion that the seat has been damaged for whatever reason. Although it may look undamaged, if you were to have another accident, the seat may not be able to protect your child to the level to which it was designed.
• Prevent the product from becoming trapped or weighed down by luggage, seats and/or slamming doors.
• Make sure luggage or other objects are properly secured. Unsecured luggage may cause severe injuries to children and adults in case of accidents.
• DO NOT attempt to dismantle, modify or add any part to the product. Warranty will be void if non-original parts or accessories are used.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning products; these may harm the construction material of the product.
• BeSafe advises that child seats should not be bought or sold second-hand.
• DO NOT use the product for longer than 15 years. Due to ageing, the quality of the material may change.
• DO NOT use at home. It has not been designed for home use and can only be used in a vehicle.
• When the product is mounted in the car check all the areas where the child seat might touch the interior. We recommend using a (BeSafe) protection cover in these places to avoid cuts, marks or discolouration to the interior of the vehicle, especially in vehicles with leather or wooden interiors.
• If in doubt, consult either the car seat manufacturer or the retailer.

Preparing the base for installation

1. Outside the car: lift the base and let the floor support drop down.
2. When using a Go Beyond infant seat on the base: Put the front brace into most upright position. (1)
3. When using with a Beyond toddler seat (purely rear facing seat) on the base: Decide with how much leg space you want to install the base by adjusting the position of the front brace. (2)
4. When using with a Beyond 360 toddler seat (rear and forward facing seat) on the base: For rear facing usage, decide with how much leg space you want to install the base by adjusting the position of the front brace. For forward facing use, adjust the front brace to always be in the most upright/compact position. (2, 3)
5. To adjust the front brace, pull the front brace handle up and rotate the front brace up or down and let it click into place. (4)

Preparing the vehicle for installation on the back seat

1. Bring the backrest of the back seat into upright position (if applicable to your car).
2. To give yourself space for the installation, move the front seat forward as far as possible and put it into upright position if needed.
3. Position the vehicle on a horizontal surface when installing the seat.

Preparing the vehicle for installation on the passenger seat

1. Adjust the backrest of the front seat into an upright position.
2. ALWAYS deactivate the front airbag. If this is not possible in your vehicle, you cannot install this seat on the front seat.
3. Move the front seat and/or adjust the front brace position, so that the dashboard is close to touchpoint with the back of the child seat. Make sure that the child seat can still rotate freely. If this is not possible, then you should move the front seat as far back as possible, so that you have a preferable minimum distance of 25 cm between child seat and dashboard.

Installing the base into the vehicle

1. Extend the ISOfix arms, you can do one side at a time separately. Push and hold the ISOfix adjustment button and slide the ISOfix arm all the way outwards into the most extended position. (1, 2)
2. Repeat on the other side.
3. Position the base on the vehicle seat. Click the ISOfix connectors onto the ISOfix anchorages on the vehicle seat. Make sure that both ISOfix indicators are green. (3, 4)
4. Good to know: to make installation easier, the ISOfix arms do not retract until they are connected with the vehicle's ISOfix anchorages. That way you can also reach ISOfix anchorages deep between vehicle seat cushions.
5. Push the seat towards the backrest of the vehicle seat until it touches the backrest. (5)

1. Adjust the floor support, so it is in contact with the floor of the vehicle. (1)
2. The floor support indicator shows green when the floor support is in contact with the floor. You also hear a click-sound. (2)
3. Lift the base at the front side (near the spirit level) and extend the floor support till the spirit level is in the green area, indicating a horizontal or upright enough position. (1, 3)
4. For a horizontal position we recommend the spirit level bubble to be in the middle between the lines. (3)
5. Tip: place one foot onto the bottom end of the floor support while lifting the base to make adjusting the length at this step easier. (1)
6. If it is easier in your car, you can also do step 5 to 10 in reverse order, meaning: first lift the base into horizontal position, then push it against the backrest.
7. If you feel like the base has too much side movement, you can push it towards the backrest side to side, so that you hear one or two more click-sounds per side. Make sure the base is straight and not crooked to one side when finished. (4)

1. If you want to install the seat rotated towards you onto the base, you can turn the rotation disc, so that the child on the sticker is facing towards you. (1, 2)

2. The disc can be rotated in both directions away from the rear facing position, but cannot be fully rotated to the front when using the base with a Go Beyond infant or Beyond toddler seat. When using the base with a Beyond 360 toddler seat, the disc cannot be rotated to the front when the headrest is in the 4 lowest positions, intended for a stature height till 88 cm.

Removal of the base from the vehicle

1. To release tension from the system, adjust the floor support into its shortest position while pressing the floor support button. (1)
2. Disconnect the ISOfix arms from the vehicle - you can do so one side at a time. Press both the ISOfix adjustment button and ISOfix release button at the same time, then slide the ISOfix arm inwards into the base. (2)
3. Repeat on the other side.
4. Take the base out of the vehicle. (3)
5. If you want to store the base in its original packaging, put the front brace into most extended position by lifting the front brace handle and rotating the front brace all the way down.

! Warning: potential misuse

• The child seat MUST NOT be installed in a front passenger seat WITH AN ACTIVATED AIRBAG.
• The floor support must always be used. Make sure that the floor support is fully pushed down and that the seat is positioned horizontal with the spirit level in the green area.
• Never drive with a child in the seat if the seat is rotated to the side.
• Make sure all indicators are green before you drive.

Guarantee

• Should this product prove faulty within 24 months of purchase due to materials or manufacturing fault, except covers and harness straps, please return it to the original place of purchase.
• The guarantee is only valid when you use your seat appropriately and with care. Please contact your retailer, they will decide if the seat will be returned to the manufacturer for repair. Replacement or return cannot be claimed. The guarantee is not extended through repair.
• The guarantee expires: when there is no receipt, when defects are caused by incorrect and improper use, when defects are caused by abuse, misuse or negligence.

Disassembly & disposal of the product

• This product can be dissassembled in different materials for waste handling; please visit www.besafe.com for detailed instructions.
• Please hand in the product at a designated collection point for handling non-general household waste.

Disposal of the packaging

- The packaging of this product contains several components like cardboard, please separate these materials and hand them in the designated collection points in your area.
