of the shaft. The pump can be suspended and/or removed using the nylon cord ( 13) provided. To ensure it is suspended securely, thread the nylon cord (

as depicted in Figure

Never suspend the pump by the hose. Ensure that the equipment is not hung up or held by the mains cable. There is a risk of electric shock from dam- aged mains cables. Note that, over time, dirt and sand may collect on the bottom of the shaft, which could damage the pump. We recommend standing the pump on a brick. If the water level is too low, the silt in the shaft can quickly dry out and im- pede the pump when warming up. Mains Connection The pump you have purchases is already tted with an earthed plug. The equipment is designed for connection to an earthed wall socket with a RCD (Residual Current Device) at 230 V~ 50Hz. Connecting the Pressure Line The pump is installed - Either with a xed pipeline - Or with a exible hose line.

1. Screw the quick-connect adapter (10)

onto the pump outlet (8).

2. Press the red release button on the

quick-connect adapter (10) and slide24 GB MT the angle adapter with quick- connect connector (11) into the quick-connect adapter (10). Let go of the red release button again.

3. Screw the reducer piece (12) onto the

angle adapter with quick-connect con- nection (11)

4. Fit the hose over the reducer (12) and

Outlet with 1“-thread at the reducer (12) for connection of a 1“-hose as clamp connection (xing with a hose clamp). Note that the particle size may be max. 18 mm if the reducer

(Outlet with 1“) is used, otherwise the reducer and hose can become blocked. Adjustmentoftheoat switch The oat switch (6) is adjusted so that it can be started up immediately. In the case of stationary installation, check regularly (no less then once every three months) that the oat switch (6) is working. The switch-on or switch-off point of the oat switch (6) can be set in three notches: Clamp the oat switch cable (3) into one of the oat switch height grids (4). Check the oat switch (6). - It must be positioned so that it can lift and lower freely. The switching point heights “On” and “Off” must be easy to reach. Check this by placing the pump into a vessel lled with water and lift the oat switch (6) carefully by hand and then lower it again. In this case, you can see whether the pump switches on and off. Danger of the pump running dry. - Also make sure that the distance be- tween the oat switch (6) and the oat switch height grid (4) is not too small. In the case of a separation distance which is too small, trouble-free functioning can- not be guaranteed. - During the adjustment of the oat switch (6), ensure that the oat switch does not contact the oor before the pump switch- es off.25 GB MT Set the length of the oatswitchcable The oat switch cable (3) is located in one of the oat switch height grids (4). Float switch cable (3) set too short

  • Pull the oat switch cable (3) at the oat switch (6) to extend. Float switch cable (3) set too long
  • Pull back the oat switch cable (3) and make sure that the oat switch (6) can raise and lower freely. Manual mode In manual mode, the pump does not switch off automatically, as the oat switch (6) is bypassed. Position the oat switch (6) with the holder (5) vertically upwards in one of the oat switch height grids (4). Monitor the pump constantly when in manual mode. Switch the pump off immediately (disconnect from the mains) if no more water is being pumped. There is a risk of damage if the pump runs dry. Operational start-up
  • Check that the pump is standing rmly on the bottom of the shaft or hung up safely.
  • Place the pump on a brick and not on a shaft oor, if applicable. This pre- vents damage to the pump if the shaft oor is soiled.
  • Check whether the pressure line has been attached correctly and the unused pump outlet is fully closed.
  • Avoid that the pump runs dry. Regular- ly check the function of the oat switch. In case of non-observance or if the pump runs dry, guarantee and liability claims are invalidated.
  • Check that the electrical connection is 230V~ 50Hz
  • Check the proper status of the electri- cal plug socket and make sure that the plug socket is sufciently fused (at least 6 A, RCD switch). Insert the pump plug into the plug socket and the pump is ready for operation.
  • Make sure that moisture or water never come in contact with the mains connec- tion. There is a risk of electrocution.
  • The minimum water level on initial start- up must be 90mm. Cleaning/Maintenance/ Storage Clean and maintain your equipment regu- larly. This will guarantee its performance and long durability. Guarantee Dear Customer, This equipment is provided with a 3-year guarantee from the date of purchase. In case of defects, you have statutory rights against the seller of the product. These statutory rights are not restricted by our guarantee presented below. Terms of Guarantee The term of the guarantee begins on the date of purchase. Please retain the original receipt. This document is required as proof of purchase.27 GB MT If a material or manufacturing defect oc- curs within three years of the date of pur- chase of this product, we will repair or re- place – at our choice – the product for you free of charge. This guarantee requires the defective equipment and proof of purchase to be presented within the three-year peri- od with a brief written description of what constitutes the defect and when it occurred. If the defect is covered by our guarantee, you will receive either the repaired product or a new product. No new guarantee pe- riod begins on repair or replacement of the product. Guarantee Period and Statutory Claims for Defects The guarantee period is not extended by the guarantee service. This also applies for replaced or repaired parts. Any damages and defects already present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately af- ter unpacking. Repairs arising after expiry of the guarantee period are chargeable. Guarantee Cover The equipment has been carefully pro- duced in accordance with strict quality guidelines and conscientiously checked prior to delivery. The guarantee applies for all material and manufacturing defects. This guarantee does not extend to cover product parts that are subject to normal wear and may therefore be considered as wearing parts (e.g. connector set) or to cover damage to breakable parts (e.g. switches). This guarantee shall be invalid if the prod- uct has been damaged, used incorrectly or not maintained.
