TODDLERS AND SMALL CHILDREN!
Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging materials. The packaging material poses a suffocation hazard. Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Please always keep the product out of the reach of children.
This device may be used by children aged 8 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or lacking experience and / or knowledge, so long as they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the device

Avoid the risk of fatal injury from electric shock
■ Ensure that a qualified electrician, or a person trained to carry out electrical installations, performs the electrical installation.
■Always check the light, power supply, and mains cable for damage before plugging it in. Never use the light if it shows any signs of damage.

WARNING!
A damaged mains cable indicates a life-threatening danger due to electric shock. In the event of damage, repairs or other problems with the light please contact the service centre or a qualified electrician.
■ Prior to installation, remove the fuse or switch off the circuit breaker (0 setting) in the fuse box.
■Prior to installation verify the mains voltage on site corresponds with the operating voltage required for the light (see "Technical data").
■ Ensure that the light does not come into contact with water or other liquids under any circumstances.
■Never open any of the components of the electrical equipment or insert any objects into the same components. This will pose a risk of fatal injury from electric shock.
■ Do not install the light on a wet or conductive substrate!

Prevent fire and injury hazards

RISK OF INJURY!
Check the light for damage immediately after unpacking.
■ Do not mount the light with defective lamps and / or lamp lenses. In this case contact the service centre for a replacement.

CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS DUE TO HOT SURFACES!
Make sure that the light fixture is turned off and cooled down before you touch it to prevent burns. Bulbs generate a lot of heat at the front of the light fixture.
■Allow the light to cool down completely.
Immediately replace defective illuminants with new ones. Before changing the illuminant, always remove the fuse first or switch off the circuit breaker.
■ Do not leave the lamp or the packaging material lying around. Plastic foils, bags, parts, etc. can become dangerous toys in the hands of children.
■ Lamp - use only in a dry environment.

■ This light is not suitable for external

dimmers or electronic switches.

Safe working
Only use the type of illuminant stated in the "Technical data" section.
■Mount the light so that it is protected from moisture and dirt.
Carefully prepare for assembly and allow yourself adequate time. Organise all parts and any necessary additional tools or materials before starting so they are easy to reach.
■Always be attentive! Always pay attention to what you are doing and use common sense. Never install the light if you are having difficulty concentrating or do not feel well.
●Preparation

Important: The electrical connection must be established by a qualified electrician or a person trained to perform electrical installations. This person must be familiar with the properties of the light and the connection regulations.

Before installation ensure that the circuit, to which the light will be connected, is not energised. To do so, remove the fuse or switch off the circuit breaker in the fuse box (0 position).
□Use the 2-pole voltage tester to verify the de-energised status.
- Start-up
•Installing the lamp
□Undo the fixing screws 3 visible on the side of the canopy 5 and remove the mounting bracket 12 on the back.
☐ Mark the drill holes using the long holes provided in the mounting bracket 12 for the screws.
□Now drill the attachment holes (diameter approx. 6 mm, depth approx. 40 mm). Make sure that you do not damage the power cable.
☐ Insert the wall plugs 2 into the drill holes. Use a hammer, if necessary.
□Attach the mounting bracket 12 using the provided screws 4.
□Pull the protective tubes 10 over the wires L and N of the (external) power cable 1.
□Now connect the connecting cable of the lamp with the screw terminal 11 to the (external) power cable 1.
Note: Make sure that you correctly connect each individual wire of the (external) power cable: live wire, black or brown = symbol L, neutral wire, blue = symbol N, earth conductor, green-yellow = symbol
□Now use the screws 3 to fasten the lamp to the mounting bracket 12.
□Carefully place the spacer ring 9 on the lamp. Make sure that it is correctly positioned.
☐ Attach the suction cup 8 to the glass of the illuminant 7.
□Carefully plug the illuminant 7 into the fixture.
☐Insert the GU10 illuminant ☐7 by carefully twisting it half a turn clockwise. Make sure that it is positioned correctly.
☐ Replace the fuse or switch on the circuit breaker (I position) in the fuse box.
Your lamp is now ready to use.
- Directing the spotlight
☐ Only change the alignment of the spotlight 6 when the lamp is switched off.
□Allow the lamp to completely cool down.
□Turn or tilt the spotlight 6 to the desired position.
- Changing the light bulb
WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
To change the illuminant, disconnect the lamp from the power supply first. For this purpose, remove the fuse or switch off the circuit breaker (0 setting) in the fuse box.
■ Only use the type of illuminant stated in the "Technical data" section.
□Allow the lamp to completely cool down.
□Remove the defective illuminant 7 by attaching the suction cup 8 to the illuminant 7 and carefully twisting it half a turn counter-clockwise.
□Carefully take the spacer ring 9 off the defective illuminant 7 and place it on the new illuminant 7.
☐ Insert the new illuminant 7 by attaching the suction cup 8 to the new illuminant 7 and carefully twisting it half a turn clockwise. Make sure that it is positioned correctly.
☐Replace the fuse or switch on the circuit breaker (I position) in the fuse box again.
●Maintenance and cleaning
WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Disconnect the light from the mains circuit before cleaning. To do so, remove the fuse or switch off the circuit breaker in the fuse box (0 position).

For electrical safety, never clean the light with water or other liquids, or immerse it in water.

Allow the light to cool completely.
- Do not use solvents, benzene or similar substances. They could damage the light.
□Only use a dry, lint-free cloth for cleaning.
☐ Replace the fuse or switch on the circuit breaker (I setting) inside the fuse box.
- Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and fibreboard / 80–98: composite materials.

The product and packaging are recyclable and subject to extended producer responsi-
bility. Please dispose of them separately according to the symbols on the packaging for better waste management. The Triman logo applies exclusively in France.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

You receive a 36 month warranty on this product, valid from the date of purchase. The appliance has been carefully produced under strict quality control. Within the warranty period we shall rectify without charge all material and manufacturing defects. Wear parts (such as bulbs) and damage caused by improper handling, non-observance of the operating instructions or unauthorised interference are excluded from the warranty. The performance of services under the warranty does not extend or renew the warranty period.
