Frequently Asked Questions - EHNA9J PANASONIC

How does nanoe™ technology work?
The nanoe™ technology generates moisture-wrapped ion nanoparticles that penetrate the hair, tighten the cuticles, and improve elasticity and shine.
What modes are available on the Panasonic EH-NA9J?
Modes include: hot air, hot/cold alternation, scalp care (air at ~50°C), skin care (gentle cold air), and intelligent temperature control.
How to clean the nanoe™ and mineral ion outlets?
Use a fine cotton swab (baby type) and gently insert it fully into each outlet (about 1 cm), then twist 2 to 3 times. Do this at least once a month.
What to do in case of hair dryer overheating?
The device automatically switches to cold air mode in case of overheating. Turn it off, unplug it, let it cool for a few minutes, then check that the air inlets/outlets are not blocked.
Can I use the hair dryer near water?
No, never use it near a bathtub, shower, sink, or other water container, even when turned off. Unplug it after use in a bathroom.
How to use the skin care mode?
After drying your hair, select COLD mode with the switch set to I, place the air outlet about 20 cm from your chin and apply the air by moving the device left and right for 1 minute, with eyes closed.
What is the difference between 'HOT' mode and 'Intelligent temperature control' mode?
HOT mode blows constant hot air. Intelligent temperature control mode automatically adjusts the hot air temperature based on ambient temperature (e.g., 90°C at 10°C ambient, 60°C at 30°C ambient).
How to maintain the air intake filter?
At least once a month, wipe the air intake grille with a cloth or toothbrush to remove lint and hair. If dust persists inside, use a vacuum cleaner.
The hair dryer produces an odor or sparks, is this normal?
A slight ozone smell is normal. Sparks inside during hot mode may be due to dust buildup; clean the air inlets/outlets. Crackling sounds from the nanoe™ outlet are normal.
What accessories are included with the Panasonic EH-NA9J?
Included accessories are a styling nozzle (to direct airflow) and a diffuser (to create volume and curls).

About nanoe™ and double mineral\*

* "Double mineral" means mineral ions generated by two zinc electrodes.

nanoe™ and double mineral effect

Penetrates hair with moisture and tightens cuticle to keep your hair elastic and healthy. Your hair becomes stronger against damage from brushing.

PANASONIC EHNA9J - nanoe™ and double mineral effect - 1
Mineral ion outlet

What is nanoe™, mineral ion?

(nanoe™, mineral ion generation method: high voltage discharge)

nanoe™

nanoe ^™ is generated by collecting the available moisture in the air, so depending on the usage environment, nanoe ^™ may not be generated. In environments of low temperature and low humidity, moisture in the air becomes difficult to collect. When this occurs, negative ions are generated.

nanoe™ are ions wrapped in water that are invisible to the human eye.

Mineral ion

Ions generated by a zinc electrode that cannot be seen by the eye.

Panel effect

PANASONIC EHNA9J - Panel effect - 1
▶ Note

Just by grasping the panel along with the handle, more nanoe ^™ is attracted to your hair.

- Results of nanoe™, mineral ions and hot/cold alternating mode (See page 13.) on hair vary according to the individual, and the following people may find it hard to experience an effect.

  • People with curly hair
  • People with strong wavy hair
  • People with smooth hair that can be easily set
  • People who have had a
straightening perm within 3 to 4 months
  • People with short hair

Maintaining the air inlet

Do this about once a month or over

Wipe to clean lint, hair, or other matter from the air inlet with a tissue or toothbrush.

▶ Note

- Do not press or rub with your nails or sharp items. Doing so may cause the air inlet to break.

PANASONIC EHNA9J - ▶ Note - 1

If dust is attached to the inside, remove it with a vacuum cleaner.

Maintaining the nanoe™ outlet and the mineral ion outlet

At least once a month

In order to maintain the generation amount of nanoe ^™ and mineral ion.

  1. Prepare a commercially available new cotton swab.
  2. Gently insert the swab in the nanoe™ outlet and the mineral ion outlet until it stops (about 1 cm), and then turn the cotton swab 2-3 times carefully.

nanoe™ outlet

PANASONIC EHNA9J - At least once a month - 1

Mineral ion outlet

▶ Note

- It is easier to clean the nanoe™ outlet and the mineral ion outlet with a narrow cotton swab (for example, one intended for babies).

Maintaining the main body

Do this when dirty

To clean the hair dryer (when it is dirty), soak a cloth in the soapy water and squeeze it out firmly, then wipe with the cloth.

Notes

  • Do not use substances such as alcohol, nail polish remover or detergent (hand soap).
Doing so may result in malfunction or part cracks or discoloration.
  • Do not leave the appliance with hairdressing products or cosmetics on it.
Doing so will cause deterioration of the plastic, leading to discoloration and cracks.

text_image Labeled diagram of a hair dryer with parts numbered A through N for identification

The Ground Truth image displays a single, solid horizontal line. According to Rule 2 (UNDERSCORE & LINE RULES), this is a stylistic or background line, not a placeholder underscore. Therefore, the OCR result must ignore it and output nothing or only meaningful text. The provided OCR content is "____", which consists of four underscores. This is an incorrect interpretation of the line as a placeholder, violating the rule that stylistic lines must be ignored. The OCR has hallucinated underscores where none should exist based on the GT's visual context. Hence, the OCR result is inconsistent with the Ground Truth.
