Safety devices
⚠CAUTION
Missing or modified safety devices
Safety devices are provided for your own protection. Never modify or bypass safety devices.
Water shortage safeguard
The water shortage safeguard prevents the burner from overheating in the case of water shortage. The burner only starts up if there is sufficient water supply.
Pressure relief valve
If the high-pressure gun is closed, the overflow valve opens and the high-pressure pump pumps the water back to the pump suction side. That prevents the maximum permissible working pressure from being exceeded.
The overflow valve is set and sealed at the factory. The adjustment is made by Customer Service.
Safety valve
The safety valve opens if the pressure relief valve is faulty.
The safety valve is set and sealed at the factory. The adjustment is made by Customer Service.
Thermostat valve on the pump
The thermostat valve opens when the maximum permissible water temperature is exceeded and discharges the hot water outdoors.
Pressure switch
The pressure switch switches the burner off when the minimum working pressure is fallen short of and on again when it is exceeded.
Emission temperature limiter
The emission temperature limiter switches the device off when the emission temperature is too high.
Safety latch
The safety catch on the high-pressure gun prevents the device from being switched on inadvertently.

Ensure good ventilation.
⚠️DANGER
Acids
Risk of acid burns
Wear safety goggles and protective gloves.
According to legal regulations, only approved scaling solvents with test symbol may be used for descaling.
