FOR INFANTS AND CHILDREN! Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. The packaging material poses a suffocation hazard. Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Do not leave the light or packaging material lying unattended. Plastic films/bags, plastic parts, etc. are dangerous for children to play with. This device may be used by children aged 8 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or lacking experience and/or knowledge, so long as they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the device and understand the associated risks. Do not allow children to play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.

Check the light for possible damage before every use. Never use the light if it shows any signs of damage. A damaged light means there is a danger of death from electric shock. In the event of damage, repairs or other problems with the light, please contact the service centre or an electrician. Before use, verify that the available mains voltage corresponds to the required operating voltage of the light (see “Technical data“). Never allow the light to come into contact with water or other liquids. Always unplug the plug-in mains adapter from the mains socket prior to assembly, disassembly, cleaning, or if the lamp will not be used for extended periods. Never open any of the electrical equipment or insert any objects into this equipment. Such interferences pose a risk of fatal injury from electric shock. The illuminant in this lamp must be replaced by the manufacturer or by an authorised technician or similarly qualified person. To prevent hazards, if the external flexible lead on this lamp is damaged, it must only be replaced by the manufacturer, the service representative of the manufacturer, or an equally qualified person. This light is not suitable for external dimmers or electronic switches. Prevent fire and injury hazards o not look into the illuminant from a close distance during operation. Do not look at the LED with an optical instrument (e.g. magnifier). Do not cover the lamp or the plug-in mains adapter with objects. Excessive heat build-up can result in fire. Safety/Preparation/Initial use Do not operate the product inside the packaging. Otherwise there is the risk of overheating! Do not leave the light unattended when in use. For your safety Install the light in a location where it is protected from moisture and dirt. Always be alert! Always pay attention to what you are doing and always use common sense. Never mount or use the light if you are having difficulty concentrating or do not feel well. In order to fully disconnect the lamp from the power supply, the plug-in mains adapter must be unplugged from the mains socket. Preparation To pair the light with the smartphone you will need a Gateway, the “Lidl Home“ app and an internet connection. Install the Gateway per the manufacturer instructions. Download the “Lidl Home“ app from the App Store. Initial use Note: Before first use, remove all packaging materials and remove the protective films from the light‘s cover. Assembling the lamp (see Fig.) Model 14161805L only: Place the two parts of the base 3 on top of each other so that the fastening holes are on top of each other (see fig.). Place the lamp body 1 onto the pre-drilled holes in the base 3 . Ensure that the openings on the assembly bracket 2 for the screws 4 are aligned precisely with the pre-drilled holes in the base 3 . Screw the lamp body 1 onto the base 3 . To do this, insert the screws 4 through the base 3 from underneath into the assembly bracket 2 and tighten the screws 4 with the help of the hexagonal key 5 . Note: Make sure that the side with the foot pad on the base 3 is facing downwards. Plug the plug-in mains adapter 8 into a properly installed socket. Your lamp is now ready to use. Model 14161902L only: Note: We recommend assembling this product with two people. Plug the connecting plug 10 of the top lighting unit 9 into the connection socket 11 for the bottom lighting unit 12 . Insert the top lighting unit 9 into the bottom lighting unit 12 . Ensure that the connection cable 14 is inserted in a loop in the bottom lighting unit 12 . Note: Ensure that the connection cable 14 is not crushed. Secure the top lighting unit 9 on the bottom lighting unit 12 by tightening the screws 13 with the help of the hexagonal key 5 . Place the assembled light onto the pre-drilled holes in the base 3 . Ensure that the openings on the bottom lighting unit 12 for the screws 4 are aligned precisely with the pre-drilled holes in the base 3 . Screw the assembled light onto the base 3 . To do this, insert the screws 4 through the base 3 from underneath into the bottom lighting unit 12 and tighten the screws 4 with the help of the hexagonal key 5 . Note: Make sure that the side with the foot pad on the base 3 is facing downwards. Plug the plug-in mains adapter 8 into a properly installed socket. Your lamp is now ready to use. GB/IE

.../Resetting the light/Connecting the light with a smartphone/App functions Switching the lamp to learning mode Use the ON/OFF in-line switch 7 to switch the lamp to learning mode. Resetting the light The light must be in learning mode to pair the light with the app. This is indicated by the light flashing regularly. If the light does not automatically start flashing, return the light to learning mode. To activate learning mode, switch the light on and off as follows: ‒ switch on ‒ 1 sec. off – 1 sec. on ‒ 1 sec. off – 1 sec. on ‒ 1 sec. off – 1 sec. on The light should now be flashing regularly in learning mode. Note: This procedure only resets the product to offline mode and starts the learning mode. If you want to remove all product and cloud data, please refer to the section Disconnecting the remote control and smart phone. Follow the instructions and select “Disconnect and delete data” under “Remove device”. Connecting the light with a smartphone Please consult the “Lidl Home” app for DETAILS of our privacy policy.

Disconnecting the smartphone

1. Open the “Lidl Home“ app.
