2.1. Safety in the workplace

b) Do not use the unit in explosion hazardous areas.
c) If you have any doubts as to whether the unit is working properly or if it is damaged, contact the manufacturer's service department.
d) Only the manufacturer's service department can repair the unit. Do not carry out repairs yourself!
e) In case of open flames or fire, use only dry powder or snow (CO2) fire extinguishers to extinguish the live equipment.

WARNING FOR WORKING WITH FLAMMABLE MATERIAL:

  1. The unit's engine is designed to operate on mixed fuel: gasoline (unleaded or leaded) + two-stroke oil at a ratio of 40:1.

Mixing gasoline and oils other than those recommended may damage gaskets, hoses and tanks.

  1. Do not store fuel supplies near sources of fire and heat (such as a boiler, oven), electrical discharges, welding sparks that may ignite the fuel. Smoking is prohibited near fuel tanks.
  2. Before refueling, make sure the engine is turned off and cooled down and then are no fire sources near the refueling area.
  3. Try not to spill fuel. If this happens, thoroughly wipe spilled fuel off the ground with a dry rag.
  4. When you have finished refueling, carefully close the cap on the tank.
  5. To start the machine after refueling, move it at least 3 meters away from the refueling point.
  6. Empty the fuel tank when transporting the unit.

3.2. Preparation for operation

POSITIONING OF THE UNIT

Keep the unit away from any hot surfaces. Always operate the unit on a level, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface and out of the reach of children and persons of impaired mental, sensory and intellectual functions. The user should wear protective clothing when using the equipment, primarily long pants and safety shoes.

3.3. Installation of the unit

  2. Connect the roller to the motor.
  3. Tighten with 4 screws.
  4. Remove the two securing screws from the lever and use them to connect the lever to the base.

3.4. Working with the unit

3.4.1. BEFORE STARTING:

  1. Assume a stable position on a level surface without any obstacles. Do not use the unit while standing on a ladder, for example.
  2. Always hold the unit firmly with both hands using your whole palm.
  3. Do not work with the unit with your arms stretched out in front of you or held above shoulder height.
  4. It is recommended that there be people within a safe distance (more than 15m ) who are aware of your presence.

3.5. Cleaning and maintenance

3.5.2. SPARK PLUG CLEANING:

  1. After the engine has cooled, remove the spark plug using a socket wrench.
  2. Clean the spark plug with a wire brush.
  3. Use a feeler gauge to set the spark gap to between 0.6 and 0.7 mm .
  4. Reinstall the spark plug by hand.
  5. Tighten with a socket wrench.

3.5.3. CLEANING THE AIR FILTER:

  1. Remove the cover and sponge from the filter.
  2. Replace the cover to prevent unwanted objects from falling into the tank.
  3. Clean the air filter in warm soapy water.
  4. Rinse.
  5. Allow the filter to dry thoroughly.

CAUTION: Do not start the engine without the filter installed.

Old fuel is one of the main causes of engine starting problems, so empty the fuel tank if the unit will not be used for an extended period of time.
