How to assemble the handlebar of the Mountfield EL 380 lawn mower?

The handlebar comes in two types (I and II). For type I, attach the lower parts (11) and (12) by aligning the marked tooth «>>» with a notch (1 or 2) according to the desired height, then lock with the handles (13). Mount the upper part (14) and fix it with the handles (15) in one of the holes (3 or 4). Hook the cable into the cable clips (17) and (18). For type II, use rotary knobs instead of handles.

How to adjust the cutting height?

Use the adjustment lever (1) located on the chassis. Adjust with the blade stopped. Several positions are available to adapt the cut to the desired grass height.

How to use the mulching function?

If your model is equipped with the mulching kit, lift the rear stone guard (1) and insert the deflector plug (5) into the discharge opening until it clicks. To remove it, lift the stone guard and pull out the plug. Never cut more than one third of the total grass height at once.

What to do in case of abnormal vibrations during mowing?

Stop the engine immediately and disconnect the power. Check if the blade or other parts are damaged or loose. If the blade is damaged, have it replaced at a specialized center. Do not use the machine until the problem is resolved.

How to maintain the lawn mower blade?
