Frequently Asked Questions - ES-WM31 PANASONIC

How to install the battery in the Panasonic ES-WM31 trimmer?
Turn the battery cover in the direction of the arrow and remove it. Insert one LR6 (AA) alkaline battery, observing polarity (+ and -). Replace the cover by aligning the mark and turn it in the direction of the arrow.
What types of batteries can be used?
Use only LR6 (AA) alkaline batteries. Manganese batteries significantly degrade performance.
How to clean the trimmer after use?
Remove the head and accessories. Clean the main body, accessories and head under running water. Wipe off water droplets and allow to air dry. Use the cleaning brush to remove hair residue.
Can the trimmer be used on wet skin?
Dry shaving is recommended. Wet hairs stick to the skin or tangle, making shaving difficult.
How to get a close shave on the bikini area?
First use the bikini trimmer head to cut hairs to 1.5 mm or less, applying the head at 120° to the skin and trimming upward. Then use the bikini shaver head at 90° for a complete shave.
Do I need to use the skin protector?
Yes, the supplied skin protector must be installed on the bikini trimmer head when used on the groin and buttocks to prevent injury.
When to replace the trimmer blades?
Recommended replacement periods: bikini shaver outer foil: about 1 year; bikini shaver inner blade: about 2 years; bikini cutter head: about 3 years; body shaver head: about 1.5 years.
What to do if the trimmer no longer cuts as well?
Replace the affected blade or install a new battery. Also remove any hair residue that may be clogging the blades.
