BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR WITH MEMORY
Thank you for purchasing the LANAFORM® wrist blood pressure monitor. This monitor uses the oscillometric method to measure human systolic/diastolic blood pressure and heart rate. The monitor detects blood pressure through the wrist artery and converts it into a digital measurement. This monitor does not require a stethoscope, making it very easy to use. With its large LCD screen, you can easily read the various figures. This device is designed for use by adults only.

PROCEDURE FOR SETTING THE DATE/TIME
- Press Time Set button « » to start the procedure for setting the date and time; the "month" value will blink first.

FIXING THE PRESSURE CUFF
- Sit down on a seat with your feet on the ground and your arm (heart side) resting on a table. Relax your arm as much as possible.
- Put the cuff around your wrist "HEART SIDE" with the palm of your hand facing up. The monitor's screen is now facing towards you (Figure 4).
- Adjust the upper edge of the monitor: it should be between 0.5cm and 1cm below the top of your wrist (Figure 5).
- Pass the tape around your wrist so that it fits comfortably. Your wrist should not be compressed.
PLEASE NOTE: It is natural for blood pressure to vary from one hand to the other, so always take your blood pressure on the same arm to ensure the two readings are comparable.
- Rest your arm on the storage box and make sure that the monitor is at the same level as your heart (Figure 6).
HOW TO MEASURE BLOOD PRESSURE
- Press the Stop/start button.
- All the display symbols appear for approximately 1 second. This is the initial LCD test.

- When measurement is complete, the monitor emits a beep tone. Your systolic and diastolic blood pressure and your heart rate will be displayed automatically on the right-hand side of the LCD screen in compliance with the WHO (World Health Organisation) standards.

text_image
12-22 9:30 AM 112 mmHg 76 10 80 ♥Note:
Systolic pressure (SYS): When the heart contracts, empties and "pushes" blood into the arteries, heavy pressure is exerted on the artery wall. This is referred to as systolic pressure.
Diastolic pressure (DIA): After the heart contracts, it relaxes. It draws blood back into its chambers, no longer pumping blood into the circulation. The blood pressure is lower during this relaxation phase. This minimum pressure is the diastolic pressure.
- Once the measurement is displayed, it is automatically stored in the memory. When measurement is complete, you simply press the stop/start button again in order to turn your device off. If you forget to turn it off, it will stop automatically after two minutes.
PLEASE NOTE: it may take a few seconds for the measurements to disappear. Inaccurate readings will be recorded if you move when measurements are being taken.
SETTING THE MEMORY
Memory recall
- This monitor can store up to 60 readings in its memory. You can therefore create a statement with your doctor of the various measurements taken.
- To turn on the memory, press the "M" button. The first measurement displayed corresponds to an average of all the measurements recorded. The letters AVG will appear on the screen (Figure 7).
EN
- After the average reading is displayed on the screen, you can press the "M" button again to call up the record history from 1 to 60, starting with the most recent records. (Figure 7).
- Press Time Set button « 🔊 » to recall historical records backwards, i.e. from record 60 to record 1.
Clearing the memory
- To clear all records from the memory, please press button "M", holding it down until the screen displays "Clr".
- This function is only operated under power-off mode.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
- Clean the device carefully using a damp cloth.
- Do not immerse the device in water. If water enters the device, it could cause damage.
- Do not use powerful detergents or solvents to clean the device or the cuff.
