INTRODUCTION

Thank you for choosing TONIC MASS by LANAFORM ^® , a quality massage appliance equipped with nine motors, enabling you to find the massage best suited to your desires.

These motors operate independently from each other or together according to the programmed combinations along your back.

Its relaxing, stimulating and invigorating effect will notably play a part in reducing tension, muscle pain and fatigue.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance. Please also follow these instructions carefully while using the appliance.

To prevent the risk of burns, electrocution, fire or injury:

• Only use this appliance for the purposes described in this manual.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental capacities are impaired, or by persons lacking experience or knowledge, unless they are first instructed or are supervised in the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Please do not use accessories which are not recommended by Lanaform® or which are not supplied with this appliance.
• If the power lead is damaged, it must be replaced by a special or similar lead available from the supplier or after-sales department.
• Do not use this appliance if the plug is damaged, if it is not working correctly, if it has been dropped or if it is damaged or if it has fallen into water. If this is the case, have the appliance inspected and repaired by the supplier or after-sales department.
• Do not transport this appliance by pulling on its electricity cable.
• Never use drawing pins or other metal attachments with this appliance.
  • Always disconnect the appliance from the mains after use or before cleaning it.
• Do not try to retrieve an appliance which has fallen into water; simply disconnect it from the mains immediately.
• An electrical appliance should never be left plugged in and unsupervised. Disconnect it from the mains if you are not using it.
• Keep the power lead away from hot surfaces.
• Do not use this product before going to bed. Massage has a stimulating effect which may inhibit sleep.
• Do not use this massage appliance while you are asleep.
• Never let anything fall into and never insert anything into one of the openings.
• Never use this appliance in a room where aerosol products (sprays) are used or in a room where oxygen is administered.
• Do not use this appliance under a cover or under a cushion. Excessive heat may cause a fire, electrocution of the individual or other injuries.
• To disconnect the appliance from the mains, ensure that it is in the «OFF» position and then unplug it.
  • This appliance is intended exclusively for household use.
• If you are worried about your health, consult a doctor before using this appliance.
• If you feel any pain while using this appliance, stop using it immediately and consult your doctor.
• Do not use this appliance for more than 25 minutes at a time.
• Never use this appliance on a part of the body that is swollen or inflamed or if you have any form of skin rash.
• This product is a non-professional massage appliance designed to relax tired muscles. Never use this appliance to substitute advice from a doctor or to replace medical treatment.

Any pain and any persistent symptoms must be considered as indications of a possible serious problem. If any symptoms appear, please consult a doctor before continuing to use "TONIC MASS".

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1) Characteristics

• Massage by vibrations.
• 9 motors.
• 5 levels of intensity.
• 4 massage areas (neck/shoulders/back/buttocks & thighs).
• Timer: 4 operating times (10, 15, 20 or 25 minutes).
• 8 pre-programmed modes combining the different massage areas.

2) Description of TONIC MASS

Belts:

Using the attachment belts located on the back of the cushion, attach it to a chair to enjoy a massage while reading, while resting or even while working.

Manual control:

Simply press the manual control button on the "TONIC MASS" to programme the massage of your choice and to target specific areas: neck/shoulders/back/buttocks & thighs. The motors can also be programmed to massage according to different cycle speeds, different times and different areas, which adds an additional dimension to its programming capacities.

A pocket has been specially designed on the side of the cushion to store the remote control.

3) Using TONIC MASS

Connect the adapter to a plug socket and connect the other end to the female input connector located on the side of the cushion.

Turn the appliance on or off by pressing the ON/OFF button (1).

Choice of two modes (Manual or Automatic):

Manual Mode:

• Tonic Mass enables you to select 5 different levels of intensity. To do this, press the corresponding button (2). Each press corresponds to one level of intensity.
• You may also select an operating time by pressing button (3). This enables you to choose from between 4 different operating times (10, 15, 20 or 25 minutes).
• Finally, you can select the desired massage area by pressing button (5). This gives you the possibility of focusing the massage on an area where you would like to relax.

Automatic Mode:

• Tonic Mass enables you to select 5 different levels of intensity. To do this, press the corresponding button (2). Each press corresponds to one level of intensity.
• You may also select an operating time by pressing button (3). This enables you to choose from between 4 different operating times (10, 15, 20 or 25 minutes).
• As soon as the level of intensity and operating time have been set, you can choose the programme best suited to your needs and desires (choice of 8 programmes varying and combining the different massage areas) so as to help yourself truly relax.

MAINTENANCE

Storage

• Place the massage cushion in its box or in a dry place.
• Avoid it coming into contact with sharp edges and other pointed objects which might cut or pierce the fabric surface.
• In order to avoid any breakage of the power lead, do not wind it around the cushion.
• Do not hang the cushion up by the manual control lead.

Cleaning

• Disconnect the cushion from the power socket and wait for a few minutes before cleaning it.
• Clean it with a soft, slightly damp sponge.
• Never let water or any other liquid come into contact with the cushion.
• Do not immerse it in liquid to clean it.
• Never use abrasive detergents, brushes or a thinning agent to clean it.

LIMITED wARRANTy

LANAFORM® guarantees this product against any material or manufacturing defect for a period of two years from the date of purchase, except in the circumstances described below.

The LANAFORM ^® guarantee does not cover damage caused as a result of normal wear to this product. In addition, the guarantee covering this LANAFORM ^® product does not cover damage caused by abusive or inappropriate or incorrect use, accidents, the use of unauthorized accessories, changes made to the product or any other circumstance, of whatever sort, that is outside LANAFORM ^® 's control.

LANAFORM ^® may not be held liable for any type of circumstantial, indirect or specific damage. All implicit guarantees relating to the suitability of the product are limited to a period of two years from the initial date of purchase as long as a copy of the proof of purchase can be supplied.

On receipt, LANAFORM ^® will repair or replace your appliance at its discretion and will return it to you. The guarantee is only valid through LANAFORM ^® 's Service Centre ^® . Any attempt to maintain this product by a person other than LANAFORM ^® 's Service Centre will render this guarantee void.
