How to use the hot/cold function?

For hot function, plug in the device and select heat mode. For cold function, insert the pre-refrigerated gel cushion (at least 2 hours in the freezer) into the provided cover. Use it for up to 20 minutes per session.

Can I use the device on a painful or swollen area?

Yes, but consult a doctor first in case of recent injury, inflammation or circulatory problem. Avoid using heat on a swollen or hot area; prefer cold in that case.

How to clean the device?

Unplug the device and let it cool down. Clean the surface with a soft slightly damp cloth (mild soapy water). Never immerse the device in water and avoid abrasive products.

The gel cushion slides into a pocket located at the front of the device. Simply remove it by opening the zipper, then insert a new cushion of the same dimensions (available from Lanaform).

Operates hot and cold

Thank you for choosing Hot and Cold MASS by LANAFORM ^® . The technology used in the device combines relief and massage through the application of heat and cold.

Why hot and cold treatment? This concept is particularly indicated to quickly relieve and ease muscle fatigue and pain. The application of heat and cold stimulates the circulation of blood much quicker than a simple massage. This device includes six massage accessories that allow you to choose the type of massage you want.

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR "HOT & COLD MASS", PARTICULARLY THOSE THAT CONCERN FUNDAMENTAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

• Verify that the voltage of your outlet is the one used in the device.
• This device is designed to be used for short periods of time. It can be operated continuously for 30 minutes, but it is essential to switch it off to cool down and recharge the motor before using it again.
• Do not leave the device unattended while it is on or while it is plugged in.
• Without medical advice, the use of the "HOT & COLD MASS" is strongly advised against for women who are pregnant, people with thrombosis or undefined body pains, as well as those with a pacemaker.
• Never use this device if the plug or power cord are damaged, if they Do not operate properly, if the device has fallen, has broken, or has been placed in water or another liquid.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Charging the massage unit

• Before the first use, you have to recharge the unit for 24 hours to ensure the built-in rechargeable battery is fully activated.
  • After the first use, you only need to recharge for 7 hours.
• For each full recharge, the unit can operate for 30 minutes.
• Turn the unit switch to off position. Plug charger unit to the electric outlet and connect the receptacle into the end of the massage unit.
  • A red warning light appears during.
  • After full recharge, unplug the charger.
• Recharge the unit after using approximately 20 minutes.

HOW TO USE

• For hot and cold massage, simply select the Hi/Lo massage by pushing the massage switch to high or low.
• Push the switch to cold position.
• Press gently the hot and cold massage head to the desired area of muscle for 5 seconds for cold massage treatment. It will take about 30 seconds for the metal head to turn cold. (approximately 13°C )
• For the "hot" massage, move the button to the "Heat" position. After about 1 minute, the massage head will be warm. (around 55°C )
• Then press gently the hot and cold massage head to the same spot area for 30 seconds hot massage.
• We recommend performing 5 care cycles per day. A care cycle consists of 5 seconds of cold massage and 30 seconds of hot massage. Do not perform more than 5 massage cycles on the same area of muscle.
• Select the desired massage attachment heads. There are 6 customs massage heads for your selection.
• It is recommended you not to use the unit for more than 20 minutes for each massage unit.
• Having finished the massage, slide the switch to «Off» to turn off the unit.

FUNCTIONS OF THE ACCESSORIES

A. Accupoint massage attachment

This accessory allows you to perform a deep, vigorous massage of tired muscles in order to relieve them.

B. Double rolling massage attachment

A massage performed with two wheels leads to an increase in blood circulation. During the use, move the unit up and down on the body directly.

C. Gentle massage attachment

This attachment is for the whole body. It relaxes sore and stiff muscles effectively.

D. Shiatsu massage attachment

This attachment is designed to simulate the human fingers so that it provides the deep penetrating massage feeling of human hands to get rid of muscles tiredness effectively.

E. Thump massage attachment

Simulates hand thump. It massages muscles deeply and calms tired muscles.

F. Multi-nodes massage attachment

With micro-finger points, this attachment provides deep and strong penetrating massage to large muscle areas. You are relaxed and your muscles' pain is reduced.

MAINTENANCE

To clean: be sure to unplug the unit and allow it to cool down before cleaning. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe. Never allow water or any other liquids to come into contact with the handle. Attachments can be cleaned in soap water.

Storage: Unplug the appliance from the outlet and allow it to cool down before storing it in its box or in a clean and dry place. Do not hang the unit by the power cord.

LANAFORM® cannot be held liable for indirect, consequential or special damage of any kind.

All implicit guarantees of the aptitude of the product are limited to two years as from the initial date of purchase.

On reception, LANAFORM® will repair or replace your appliance as appropriate and will return it to you. This guarantee must be carried out by LANAFORM® Service Centre. Any maintenance of this product entrusted to anyone other than the LANAFORM® Service Center voids this guarantee.
