USER MANUAL PRIME LITE Kindercraft

  • Never leave the child unattended.
  • Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use.
  • To avoid injury ensure that the child is kept away when unfolding and folding this product.
  • Do not let the child play with this product.
  • Check that the pram body or seat unit or car seat attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.
  • This product is not suitable for running or skating.
  • The product is designed to transport one child at a time.
  • Maximum basket load 3 kg. Any load attached to the handle and/or on the back of the backrest and/or on the sides of the vehicle will affect the stability of the vehicle.
  • The maximum permissible weight of a parent's bag suspended on the buggy's handles is 2 kg.
  • Lift the front suspension when going up a curb or step.
  • The brakes should be locked when the child is placed in or taken out of the buggy.
  • Use only parts and accessories supplied or recommended by the manufacturer. Do not use other parts or accessories.
  • Do not place the product near open flame or other heat sources.
  • Do not use with an additional platform. The following applies to the Pram body: This product, in the form of a Pram body, is designed for children who cannot sit unaided, fall over or crawl using hands and knees. Maximum child weight – up to 9 kg.

WARNING: This product is only suitable for a child who cannot sit

up unaided. Only use on a firm, horizontal level and dry surface.29 Do not let other children play unattended near the carry cot. Do not use if any part of the carry cot is broken, torn or missing. Before carrying or lifting the base shall be adjusted in the lowest position. The head of the child in the carry cot should never be lower than the body of the child. The Pram body must not be used as a child carrier. The Pram body handle is only designed for assembly and disassembly of the buggy frame. Do not insert an extra mattress apart from that supplied with the product. The following applies to the pushchair: WARNING! This seat unit is not suitable for children under 6 months. Always use the restraint system. The product is intended for children from 6 months old to 22 kg or 4 years whichever come first. Applies to the Kinderkraft MINK car seat:The Kinderkraft PRIME buggy can be offered in a set with a compatible Kinderkraft MINK car seat. The product is intended for children from birth to 13 kg. If the seat is used together with the buggy, it does not replace a cradle or crib. For sleep, place the child in the Pram body, cradle or crib. IV UNFOLDING BUGGY FRAME In order to unfold the frame, release the locking element (FIG. 4). Holding the handle, lift the frame (FIG. 5) until you hear a locking sound (FIG. 6) V WHEEL ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY Insert the front wheels in the slots on the front of the frame until you hear the locking sound (FIG. 7A). In order to remove the wheels, press the front wheel release button as shown in Figure 8. The buggy has a system of swivel front wheels with a possibility of locking for straight movement. To lock the wheel for straight movement, press the upper part of the lock (FIG. 9, movement A). In order to unlock, move the lock up (FIG. 9, movement B). Insert the rear wheels into the slots in the rear part of the frame until they lock, making sure that the flat surfaces of the axis of the slot have been set correctly (FIG. 10). To remove the rear wheel, press the release button (FIG. 11). NOTE! Before using the buggy make sure that all the wheels are properly installed. VI USE OF BRAKE The buggy is equipped with a foot parking brake. Press the brake with your foot (FIG. 12.1). The brake is activated after you hear the sound of the lock. The brake is unlocked after moving the brake lock up (FIG. 12.2).

VII ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY

VII.I SEAT When installing the seat on the buggy frame, stick the seat connector (A) in to the frame slot (B) (one on each side of the buggy) until you hear a click (FIG. 13.1). The seat may be mounted forward or rearward (FIG. 13.2). When removing the seat, press the lever for releasing the seat from the frame on the both sides (FIG. 14.1) and pull it up (FIG. 14.2). Baby stroller is equipped with a footrest cover that can be mounted on both the seat and the carrycot. Leg cover should be mounted using the press studs on the outside of the canopy hinges.30 NOTE! Do not fold the buggy frame when the Pram body or the seat in its rear position is installed on it.

NOTE! INSTALL THE CANOPY BEFORE USING THE BUGGY Place the canopy in the guide in the buggy frame and make sure it is properly installed (FIG. 15.1). When removing the canopy, press the button on either side of the seat and remove the canopy (FIG. 15.2). When installing and removing the canopy remember about Velcro fasteners on the sides and the zip on the back of the backrest. VII.III SAFETY BAR When installing the safety bar, insert it in the appropriate guides in the seat frame until it clicks (FIG. 16.1). To remove the part, press the bar release buttons on either side of the guide and remove the safety bar (FIG. 16.2). VIII SAFETY BELTS Press the button to open the clasp (FIG. 17.1). To secure the child, connect the latches of the hip and shoulder straps and then insert them into the middle clasp (FIG. 17.2) until it engages. IX SEAT POSITIONS The seat has 4 positions: lying, 2 x reclining and sitting, adjusted with backrest adjustment lever (FIG.

X PARENT HANDLE ADJUSTMENT To adjust the bar, press the handle adjustment buttons on both sides and set it in the desired position (FIG. 19). XI FOOTREST ADJUSTMENT The position is changed by lifting the footrest (FIG. 20.1). In order to lower the footrest, press the footrest adjustment buttons on both sides (FIG. 20.2). XII FOLDING THE BUGGY (FIG. 21) Make sure that the seat is positioned facing the direction of travel before folding the buggy. Fold the canopy. Simultaneously press the release button and pull both folding levers to yourself to fold the buggy. When the buggy is completely folded, the locking element will lock itself. In order to minimize the folded buggy dimensions, lower the footrest. In addition, set the backrest in the top position to facilitate frame folding. XIII BUGGY PRAM BODY After removing the Pram body from the packaging, set the hood (FIG. 22A). The hood can be folded using the Pram body hood folding and unfolding buttons on both sides of the Pram body (FIG. 22B). Place the foot cover and attach it to the Pram body hood using the press studs (FIG. 23). The foot cover is equipped with an additional panel protecting from the wind. When the wind blows, it can be attached using a clamp (FIG. 24A). After folding, it must be fixed using clamp B (FIG. 24B). To adjust the Pram body backrest, move the backrest adjustment lever (RYS. 25) located under the Pram body and lock in the correct position. The Pram body backrest has 4 levels of adjustment. XIV ATTACHING THE PRAM BODY TO THE BUGGY FRAME NOTE! THE PRAM BODY CAN ONLY BE MOUNTED FACING BACKWARDS (the child faces the person pushing the buggy). When installing the Pram body on the buggy frame, stick the Pram body connector (A) in to the frame slots (B) (FIG. 26), one on each side of the buggy, until you hear a click. When removing the Pram body, press the lever for releasing the Pram body from the buggy frame (A) on both sides and pull up (FIG. 26). XV CAR SEAT ASSEMBLY ON BUGGY FRAME The supplied adapters are compatible with the following car seats: Kinderkraft (MINK), Maxi Cosi®, Cybex® and they are suitable for the following models: Cybex Aton, Aton 2, Aton Q i Maxi Cosi Mico, Mico AP, Mico NXT, Mico Max 30, Citi, Cabrio, and CabrioFix. Place the adapters on both d=side of the seat (FIG. 27) When installing the car seat on the buggy frame, stick them in the designed slots, one on each side of the buggy until you hear a distinctive clock. Removing the seat press the buttons on both sides and pull up. The car seat must always be fitted in such a way that the child should face the carer. XVI CARE AND MAINTENANCE The buyer is responsible for proper installation of all functional elements as well as for carrying out all required maintenance and adjustments in order to keep the buggy in good technical condition. The buggy must be periodically checked for potential problems. Significant measures to be applied to ensure the child's safety and prevent shortening of the product life have been presented below:

  • Check the strength and safety of all rivets and connections.
  • Check all wheel locking equipment and tyres. If necessary, replace or repair.
  • Check if all safety devices work properly, particularly the main and additional fasteners that should move freely at any time. Please stop using the buggy if there are doubts as to its proper use or a suspicion of any danger. Use only the spare parts supplied or recommended by the manufacturer. If the wheels squeak, apply a thin layer of silicone. Do not use oil or grease based products as they attract dirt, which makes it difficult for the wheels to move. XVII CLEANING If the elements of the buggy chassis have been exposed to saltwater, rinse with tap water as soon as possible.

Wash at max. 30°C, gentle process.

Do not wash. Clean the product gently with a damp cloth and a mild detergent.

Do not dry in a tumble dryer

Do not dry clean Do not fold or store the product when it is wet and never store it in wet conditions as it can lead to mould growth. XVIII Warranty

1. All Kinderkraft products are covered by a 24-month warranty. The warranty period begins on the date of releasing

the product to the Buyer. 2. The warranty is valid for products sold in the following countries: France, Spain, Germany, Poland, United Kingdom, Italy.

3. In countries not listed above warranty terms and conditions are determined by the Seller.

5. The warranty is valid only in the country where the purchase was made.

a. claims arising from product specifications, as long as they comply with those specified by the manufacturer in the instruction manual or other documents of a legislative nature; b. product damage caused by improper maintenance or use of inadequate chemicals; c. colour change (discolouration) when the product has been exposed to direct sunlight against the instructions provided in the instruction manual; d. tear, wear, crack of fabric/plastic that is the fault of the Customer; e. reduction in the quality of the product and consumables due to normal wear and tear; f. products which have not been used according to specifications;
