How to recharge the trimmer battery?

Turn off the trimmer with the switch. Connect the adapter to the device and then to a power outlet. The light turns blue during charging. A full charge provides 120 minutes of cordless use.

What is the cordless runtime of the trimmer?

The runtime is 120 minutes after a full charge of the Li-ION battery.

How to use the guide combs?

Attach the guide comb by snapping it onto the cutting head (see figures 2A and 2B). To remove, push it forward (figure 2C). The combs provide cutting heights of 1.5 mm, 3 mm, and 4.5 mm.

How to clean the trimmer after use?

Turn off and unplug the device. Remove the comb and brush the hair from the cutting head with the provided brush. Clean the body with a cloth. Do not immerse the device in water.

What if the trimmer does not work on mains while plugged in?

If the battery is flat, turn off the trimmer, charge it for about 5 minutes, then turn it on again while still plugged into the mains.

How to change the blades of the trimmer?

Turn off the device. Push the blades forward to remove them (figure 3A). To reinstall, first insert the back part into its housing (figure 3B), then push the front to close (figure 3C). Make sure the motor pivot engages in the internal slot of the blade.

What is the power supply voltage of the adapter?

The adapter provides an output of +4.0 VDC with a current of 2.0 A and a power of 8.0 W. It accepts an input of 100-240V~ 50/60 Hz.

Can I use the trimmer in the bathroom?

No, it is forbidden to use the device near bathtubs, sinks, or other containers with water due to the risk of electric shock.

What is the warranty period?

The warranty is 24 months for domestic use in the European Union and Switzerland, and 12 months for professional use. It starts from the date of purchase upon presentation of the warranty certificate or invoice.

• For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.

• Danger of scratches or cuts. Do not use a comb or a set of blades if they are damaged. Replace them immediately, as they may cause injury.
• Take care not to scratch the skin when handling the appliance with the set of blades without combs.
• The A-weighted sound pressure level of the hair clipper for professional use is below 70 dB(A).

The appliance can operate either using mains power or in cordless mode, as it has a rechargeable battery.

MAINS POWER SUPPLY

Connect the transformer the (fig. 1- ref. 7) by inserting the plug into the appliance socket (fig. 1 - ref. 4). Plug the transformer into the mains.

Warning: if the appliance does not work with mains power when the battery charge has run down completely, switch it off, recharge the battery for about five minutes and then switch back on again, running on mains power.

BATTERY OPERATION

• During normal operation the blue indicator light comes on (fig. 1 - ref. 5).
• Recharge the battery when the indicator light (fig. 1 - ref. 5) flashes red.
• When the battery is fully discharged, the appliance automatically switches off.

RECHARGING THE BATTERY

• Switch off the appliance using the switch (fig. 1 - ref. 3). The battery can only be charged when the appliance is switched off.
• Connect the transformer (fig. 1 - ref. 7) by inserting the plug into the appliance socket (fig. 1 - ref. 4).
• Plug the transformer into the mains.
• During recharging the blue indicator light comes on (fig. 1 - ref. 5).
• When the product has finished charging the blue indicator light (fig. 1 - ref. 5) flashes.
• When the battery is fully charged, the appliance can be used up to 120 minutes without connection to the mains.
  After a certain number of operating hours, charge duration in cordless mode may decrease significantly.
  The maximum charge level is reached after 4 - 5 recharging procedures.

CUTTING WITH GUIDE COMBS

Depending on the type of cut desired, the appliance can be used with or without a guide comb (fig. 1 - ref. 8). Guide combs are used to achieve different cutting lengths ranging from 1,5 to 4,5mm

• Switch off the appliance.
• When fitting the comb, refer to fig. 2A and B.
• When removing the comb, refer to fig. 2C.

CHANGING BLADES

• Switch off the appliance.
• To remove the blades, push them out of their slot as shown in fig. 3A.
  To replace the blades, first insert the rear part into the slot (fig. 3B), then push on the front to close it (fig. 3C).
• IMPORTANT: before fitting the blade, make sure that the motor pin (fig. 5 - ref. 1) is adjusted so that it can slot into the space on the inner side of the blade (fig. 5 - ref. 2).

CARE AND MAINTENANCE (fig.3, 4 and 5).

The cleaning and maintenance procedure must be carried out after every use.

• Switch OFF the appliance and disconnect it from the mains supply before performing any maintenance or changing any parts.
• Never immerse the appliance in water!
  After every use, remove the guide comb then use the small brush to eliminate any hair from the cutting head and its seat.
• Clean the outside of the appliance with a soft cloth (slightly damp if necessary). Never use solvents or abrasive detergents!
• Remove the cutting head (fig. 3) and evenly oil the blades and the seat of the motor pin which is located on the inside (fig. 5, rif. 1 and 2).
• If after prolonged use, and despite regular cleaning and lubrication, the cutting ability of the appliance appears to be diminished, the cutting head must be replaced.

2. The guarantee is applicable only against submission of the present guarantee card or the sale's invoice.
3. The guarantee covers the elimination of all defects arisen during the guarantee period resulting from proven faults in material or workmanship. The elimination of the defects will be made either by repairing the appliance or exchanging it. The guarantee does not cover any damage arising from incorrect connection to the power supply, improper use, breakage, normal wear and non-compliance with the Instructions for Use.
4. All other claims of any nature, including those for eventual damages outside of the appliance, are excluded, unless our liability is legally mandatory.
