Frequently Asked Questions - WRS 200 Kärcher

How do I mount the WRS 200 on my vehicle?
Mounting is done via an adapter with a trailer hitch triangle attached to the rear of the vehicle. Refer to chapters 7 and 8 of the manual for instructions according to the platform (C, D or E). A qualified specialist must carry out the installation.
What fuel should I use for the burner?
Use only diesel. Only fill in original containers and follow safety instructions (no smoking, well-ventilated area). See chapter 12.1.
How do I start weed removal?
Set the thermostat to 98 °C (green mark), turn on the blower, attach the appropriate accessory, then actuate the trigger after unlocking the safety catch. The engine speed must be at least 2250 rpm (depending on vehicle).
What are the essential safety devices?
The pressure switch stops the pump when the trigger is released; the safety catch locks the trigger; the water shortage safety device prevents the burner from overheating. Never disable these devices.
How do I maintain the high-pressure pump?
Check the oil level (15W-40) daily via the sight glass. After the first 50 hours, replace the oil, then every 600 hours or annually by an authorized after-sales service.
What should I do if the burner does not ignite?
First check the diesel level in the canister and that the blower switch is on. If the maintenance tank indicator is on, fill the RM 110. If unsuccessful, contact the after-sales service.
Can I use the WRS 200 with a standard high-pressure cleaner?
No, the WRS 200 includes a dedicated high-pressure cleaner powered by the vehicle's hydraulic power take-off. It requires a water flow of at least 30 L/min and a suitable water tank.
How do I store the hose and gun after use?
After releasing pressure, unscrew the hose, store it in the compartment behind the right doors. Secure the gun with lance in the left front holder and secure with the rubber closure.
What optional accessories are available?
You can add the front bar WR 100 Adv for surface treatment, or various lances/guns (WR 10, WR 20, WR 50, WR 100). See chapter 1.4.2 for compatibilities.
What precautions should be taken for the battery?
The integrated 12 V battery is charged via the vehicle's alternator. For prolonged storage (>1 month), disconnect the negative terminal and recharge every 2 months. Follow the instructions in the carrier vehicle manual.
