How to turn on the Hama DIT2105SBTX radio?

Press the [POWER/VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] button on the front panel. To put it in standby, hold it down for about 3 seconds.

How to change the interface language?

Go to the Settings menu via the [MENU] button, then select Language. Choose your language (French, English, German, etc.) from the list.

How to connect the radio to the internet via WiFi?

Make sure your router is on and WiFi is enabled. On first startup, a setup wizard will guide you. Otherwise, go to Settings > Network > WiFi and select your network.

Can I use the radio with Spotify?

Yes, the radio supports Spotify Connect. Use your phone, tablet, or computer as a remote. Open Spotify and select the DIT2105SBTX device from the list of available devices.

How to set the alarm?

Press the [ALARM] button on the front. Use the wheel or navigation buttons to set the time, source (radio, buzzer), and days. Confirm with [OK].

What type of antenna to use for better reception?

The supplied telescopic antenna is suitable for DAB, DAB+ and FM. To improve reception, you can use an active or passive antenna with a coaxial connector. Fully extend the antenna and place it vertically.

The remote control does not work, what to do?

Check that the AAA batteries are inserted correctly with the polarity (+/-) indicated. Make sure no obstacles block the infrared sensor (front window). Replace the batteries if necessary.

How to safely clean the radio?

Unplug the device. Use a slightly damp lint-free cloth. Do not use harsh detergents, sprays, or abrasive cloths. Do not let moisture enter the interior.

Preparingtheremotecontrolforuse

Openthecoveronthebatterycompartment. This can be found on the back of theremote control and can be opened by sliding in the direction indicated. The extent of delivery include two AA batteries which must be inserted into the battery compartment for the remote control to work. When inserting the batteries, ensure that they are inserted with the correct polarity. The relevant polarity (+ / -) is marked inside the battery compartment.

• ConnecttheLANconnectionofyourroutertotheLAN connection on your radio. You will require an Ethernet cable,whichisnotincludedinthedelivery,t o d o t his.
• Make sure that the router is on and working properly, and that you have an Internet connection.

"DIT2105SBTX"hasanantennaconnectionforexternal antennas with a coaxial connection. A suitable telescopic antennathatalloysDAB,DAB+andFMreceptionis included in the extent of delivery. Alternatively, you can use an active or passive antennatoimprovethe receptionortoadaptittoyourrequirements.

5.1 GeneralNotesonUse

5.1.1 SwitchOn/ Off/ Stand by

• Press [POWER/VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] (11) to switchontheradio.
• Press and hold [POWER/VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] (11)for3 s econdstoswitchtheradiooff(standby).
• Tocompletelyswitchoffthedevice, disconnectitfrom thepowersupply.

5.1.2 Navigation and Control

• After pressing a shortcut button, navigate through the menuitemsusing.
- Selecttheindividualmenuitemsbyturning[POWER/VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] (11).
- Confirm the selection by pressing [POWER/VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] (11).

5.1.3 Volume Adjustment

5.2SwitchingON

• Disconnect the product from the powersupply using the On/Offswitch— if this is not available, unplug the power cord from the socket.

• If you will not be using the product for a prolonged period, disconnectitfrommainspower.

• Waituntiltheradiohasinitialisedfully.
• Press [POWER/VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] (11) to switchontheradio.

The first time it is used, theradio's default language is English. To change radio's menulanguage, proceedings follows:

• Confirm the selection by pressing [POWER/VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE] (11).
