GENERAL SAFETY CONDITIONS
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
- Before using the device, read the instruction manual and follow the instructions contained therein. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by using the device contrary to its intended use or improper operation.
- The device is for domestic use only. Do not use for other purposes, incompatible with its purpose.
- Connect the device only to a grounded outlet 220 - 240V 50 / 60Hz . In order to increase the safety of use, multiple electrical appliances should not be plugged into a single circuit at the same time.

For adequate air circulation, a distance of at least 30cm on all sides of the toaster is required.

BEFORE FIRST USE
- Make sure the outlet has a proper ground connection.
- Run the device without any products for a few minutes before first use. Turn the knob (3) to the maximum position to allow the
new heating element to burn off residue from the manufacturing process.
- Push the lever (5) down until it is locked. It's normal for some smoke to be emitted when you first start it up, after 2-3 minutes the device is ready for use.
- Do not put too large slices of bread, metal foil packages or metal utensils into the toaster. This may cause an electric shock.
- If the bread gets stuck in the toaster, unplug it from the power outlet. Wait for it to cool down and then remove the bread. NEVER USE METAL UTENSILS TO REMOVE BREAD.
- Do not start the appliance without bread inserted in the holes (1), except for the first start-up.
USING THE APPLIANCE
- Use the knob (3) to set the desired toasting degree from 1 to 6
- Make sure that the thickness of the bread slices allows them to be inserted into the toasting holes (1).
- Place the bread in the slots (1) and press the lever (5) down until it locks Locking is only possible if the power cord is plugged into an outlet.
- When the toasting cycle is complete, the lever (5) automatically returns to the top position and the bread slices pop up to the top of the holes.
WARNING: The bread remains hot for a while after the toasting cycle is completed.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning, wait until the machine has cooled down and make sure it is unplugged from the power outlet. Do not use steam cleaning machines for cleaning.
- Never immerse the device in water or other liquids.
- Clean the dirty toaster housing only with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use rough sponges/cleaners.
- Clean the crumb tray (2) regularly with a dry cloth.
- After cleaning, wait a few minutes for the device to dry completely before next use.
