BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Make sure the outlet has a proper ground connection.
2. Run the device without any products for a few minutes before first use. Turn the knob (3) to the maximum position to allow the

new heating element to burn off residue from the manufacturing process.

1. Push the lever (5) down until it is locked. It's normal for some smoke to be emitted when you first start it up, after 2-3 minutes the device is ready for use.

USING THE APPLIANCE

1. Use the knob (3) to set the desired toasting degree from 1 to 6.
2. Make sure that the thickness of the bread slices allows them to be inserted into the toasting holes (1).
3. Place the bread in the slots (1) and press the lever (5) down until it locks. Locking is only possible if the power cord is plugged into an outlet.
4. When the toasting cycle is complete, the lever (5) automatically returns to the top position and the bread slices pop up to the top of the holes.

WARNING: The bread remains hot for a while after the toasting cycle is completed. 5. If the slices of bread are not well browned, adjust the degree of browning by turning the knob (3) and repeat the cycle, checking the degree of browning for the need to stop heating the bread. WARNING: Pressing the stop button (4) interrupts the toasting cycle and releases the bread. 6. The defrost button (7) is used to defrost frozen bread and toast it. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Before cleaning, wait until the machine has cooled down and make sure it is unplugged from the power outlet. Do not use steam cleaning machines for cleaning.
2. Never immerse the device in water or other liquids.
3. Clean the dirty toaster housing only with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use rough sponges/cleaners.
4. Clean the crumb tray (2) regularly with a dry cloth.
5. After cleaning, wait a few minutes for the device to dry completely before next use.
