Recommendations for efficient use to reduce environmental impact. At the beginning of cooking, set the appliance to the minimum power. After cooking, leave the appliance running for a few minutes. Increase the power only when the amount of fumes increases. Use the maximum power only when necessary. If needed, replace the charcoal filters, which effectively absorb odors. If needed, clean the grease filters, which effectively trap grease. To ensure efficient operation, use the maximum diameter of the duct, as specified in this manual.
Additional technical characteristics with installation
If screws are included in the delivery, use them for fixing. If not, use screws of the correct type. Use screws of the correct surface, as specified in the installation manual.
If you need to perform maintenance, contact an authorized service center or a specialist.
WARNING. If you do not close the valve with the screws or other types of fastening in accordance with the instructions, it may lead to electric shock.
USAGE
The valve can be used in ventilation or recirculation mode.

Ventilation mode
In ventilation mode, the valve is opened using a special tube, intended for the upper part of the valve.
Note! The outlet tube is not included in the kit. It must be purchased separately. The diameters of the outlet tube and the connecting ring must match.
In the horizontal section, the outlet tube should be slightly inclined (at an angle of approximately 10°) so that air can be easily removed outside.
Note! If the valve is installed with a flexible duct, its length should be minimal.
Close the valve to the part of the outlet openings, the diameters of which correspond to the air outlet opening (connecting flange).
Using outlet tubes and outlet openings of smaller diameter reduces the efficiency of ventilation and significantly increases the noise level.
Therefore, we disclaim any liability for such consequences.
Use the minimum required cross-section.
Use the ventilation duct with the minimum number of bends (maximum bend angle: 90°). Avoid significant changes in the cross-sectional area of the ventilation duct. Use a duct with the smoothest inner surface. The duct must be made of certified material.

Recirculation mode
For the extractor to work in this mode, it is necessary to install at least one filter with activated carbon, which can be purchased from any dealer.
The filter absorbs odors from the extracted air before it is returned to the room through the upper outlet grille.
INSTALLATION
The distance from the lower part of the extractor to the cooking surface must be at least 50 cm for electric hobs and 65 cm for gas or combination hobs.
If the instructions for installing the gas hob specify a greater distance, this must be respected.

Electrical connection
The voltage in the electrical mains must correspond to the specifications indicated on the rating plate inside the extractor. If the plug is included in the kit, insert it into a socket that complies with the standards and is in good working order before use. If the plug is not included (direct connection to the mains) or if there is no socket nearby, install a suitable two-pole switch that can completely disconnect the appliance from the mains in case of overvoltage category III, according to the installation instructions.
Warning. Before reconnecting the extractor to the mains and checking its correct operation, make sure that the power cable is installed correctly.
The extractor is supplied with a special power cable. If it is damaged, request a new one from technical support.
MOUNTING
The appliance is heavy, so it must be moved and installed by at least two people. Before installation.
- Check that the dimensions of the appliance match the chosen installation location. The carbon filters (*) are only included in the kit (see relevant section). They must be installed only if the extractor is used in recirculation mode.
- Check that no objects left inside the extractor during transport (e.g., bags with screws (), warranty cards (), etc.) remain. If they are there, remove and keep them. If possible, remove or slide out the extractor from the cabinet to ensure easy access to the ceiling or rear wall. If this is not possible, cover the hob, the surrounding surface, and the extractor with a protective material to avoid damage. Choose a flat surface to place the appliance on. Cover it with a protective covering and place the extractor and its mounting parts on it.
- Also check that near the installation area of the extractor there is a socket that will be accessible after installation, and an outlet for the exhaust system that will discharge vapors outside (only in extraction mode). Perform all necessary work (e.g., install the socket, drill the hole for the exhaust pipe).
The kit includes a compensating spring, which is intended for fastening the hood to the surface of walls and ceilings. However, the user should verify whether it can be used on specific walls and ceilings. The wall or ceiling to which the hood is attached must support its weight. Do not attach the device to walls using gypsum plaster or silicone sealant, nor directly to drywall. Only for fastening to the surface.
OPERATION
Use high suction power only when there are many vapors. It is recommended to turn on the hood 5 minutes before starting to cook, and also to leave it on during the entire process and for 15 minutes after it is finished.

MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Before performing any technical maintenance, disconnect the hood from the electrical supply by switching the switch to the off position and unplugging the plug.
If the device is connected to the mains via a plug and socket, disconnect them.
Cleaning
Clean the hood filter regularly (directly with each use of the hood filter). To do this, use a cloth with a neutral detergent. Do not use abrasive materials. Do not use alcohol!
WARNING. Failure to follow the basic recommendations for cleaning the hood filter may lead to damage. Therefore, it is recommended to follow them. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage or electric or fire damage caused by improper maintenance or failure to follow the above safety recommendations.
Filters
Metal hood filter is highly resistant to fire. The hood filter should be cleaned once a month using neutral detergents by hand or in a dishwasher at low temperature and short cycle. After cleaning in a dishwasher, the hood filter may lose color, but this does not affect its filtering ability. To remove the hood filter, pull the handle to release the filter.
The mesh (synthetic) hood filter should be replaced once every two months or when the openings of the grid are visibly dirty. Replace the mesh filter with a new one. When the filter is installed, the dirt should not be visible through the grid openings.
The charcoal filter (only for recirculation versions) absorbs odors from cooking. The charcoal filter becomes saturated after three months of use depending on the intensity of cooking and the regularity of cleaning the hood filter. In any case, it should be replaced every two months. The charcoal filter cannot be washed or reused.
Replacing the lamp
The hood is equipped with an LED lighting system. LED lamps provide optimal lighting, save up to 90% of electricity and last up to 10 times longer than incandescent lamps.
Replace the faulty lamp. Use only LED lamps E14 4 W (x1).
