Frequently Asked Questions - Litetrax 4 S Joie

For what age is the Joie Litetrax 4 S designed?
The Joie Litetrax 4 S is suitable for your child from birth thanks to the fully reclining seat, up to 15 kg (around 3 years). The 5-point harness is adjustable to 3 heights to accommodate the child's growth.
How to fold the Litetrax 4 S with one hand?
Lift the folding handle integrated into the seat and fold the frame downwards. The stroller automatically locks in the folded position and stands upright on its own, making it easy to store in a hallway or car trunk.
What is the capacity of the storage basket?
The basket under the stroller supports up to 4.5 kg. It remains accessible from the rear even when the seat is reclined, which is convenient for retrieving a diaper bag or groceries without folding the stroller.
Is the Litetrax 4 S compatible with a car seat?
Yes, the Litetrax 4 S accepts the Joie i-Gemm car seat via dedicated adapters. This compatibility creates a complete travel system that avoids waking the baby during car/stroller transfers.
How to adjust the seat positions?
The Litetrax 4 S seat reclines to 4 positions, including a flat position usable from birth. Pull the adjustment button or lever located on the side of the seat and tilt it to the desired position, then release to lock it.
Can the front wheels be locked for uneven terrain?
The 18 cm front wheels are swivel by default for city maneuverability. For cobblestones or paths, press the front hub lock lever to fix them in a straight position for better stability.
How to clean the Litetrax 4 S seat cover?
The fabric cover is removable: slide off the fasteners and detach the padding from the frame. Wash it by hand or in a machine at a maximum of 30°C. The frame can be cleaned with a damp cloth without abrasive products.
What to do if the stroller doesn't fold properly?
Ensure the seat back is sufficiently upright and the footrest is lowered before folding. Make sure no object blocks the frame's linkage arms. If the issue persists, contact Joie's after-sales service via their official website joiebaby.com.
Does the canopy provide good sun protection?
Yes, the Litetrax 4 S canopy is UPF 50+ treated to filter UV rays. It is extendable to cover the child more and has a mesh ventilation window that maintains good airflow in warm weather.
Can a carrycot be fitted on the Litetrax 4 S?
Yes, the Litetrax 4 S is compatible with the Joie Ramble carrycot using separately sold adapters. This combination offers a fully horizontal position recommended for newborns, ideal for extended walks.
How to remove the wheels for transport or cleaning?
Press the central button on each wheel and pull it towards you to remove it. To reassemble, align the wheel and push it until it clicks into place. This quick disassembly reduces bulk in a car trunk.
Is the child's front bumper bar removable?
Yes, the bumper bar can be removed by simultaneously pressing the release buttons located on each side and lifting it upwards. Removing it facilitates the child's installation and exit, especially for toddlers.
